Your posts are lovely to read bustersmummy.

I totally identify with the not getting him out of your head. I'm nearly at the two year mark and my ex still takes up far too much headspace. I'm hoping this will reduce in time but it goes to show how brainwashed we have been.

I too love the relaxed feeling I have now - even when I thought I was in love I was always on edge and with hindsight can see I was totally miserable.

Glad to see you have a new DP, I hope you'll have a very happy future with him.

BibiBlocksberg · 12/05/2011 20:56

Gosh yes, don't want to go on a out myself yet again but I'm sooooo nice and relaxed now my own knobber has been gone 5 months.

All the time, whatever I'm doing - am even starting to really laugh again (with tears of mirth and everything!! Grin

All thanks to the wonderful ladees on MN!!

BibiBlocksberg · 12/05/2011 20:58

About myself that should be. So relaxed I can't type evidently

bustersmummy · 12/05/2011 20:59

S'all right Bibi.

Neither can I.

That was supposed to be "worthy of the hoiking"

I love my life now, not in a silly over the top way just I like my life, I'm content.

Worthy of hoiking bosoms are a pain all round though, trust me :)

Yep, life is good now, can't stress that enough in case someone is reading this thread while trying to decide whether or not they might be happier by themselves.

bustersmummy · 12/05/2011 21:24

Oh but it's all done in the best possssible taste Wink

Yeah, I am not crazy ridiculous happy or anything, it's not easy there's days I struggle with it all but on the whole I am very content.

OP posts:
lazarusb · 12/05/2011 21:55

I used to love Kenny Everett too Grin I also never thought I'd be this happy, at the age of 23 I honestly believed I'd never have another relationship and I'd never be happy....all that crap just became 'normal' without me realising it.
It can take a while to let go of all the 'baggage' (for want of a better word) but I'm glad for all that are enjoying their lives without the confines of abusive partners Smile Good luck to you all.

bustersmummy · 12/05/2011 21:56

I was much older than you lazarusb Grin and my new DP/BF is lovely.

And the sex is fanatastic Wink

I have posted this on another thread but... read it and weep ladies...

Text from DP/BF

"Bustersmummy you are without a doubt the smartest, kindest, sexiest and most thoughtful person I know. With the best ass. You are a damn sight kinder and better than you think or ever give yourself credit for. You are always giving and caring for other people. It's OK to say sometimes you just need a cuddle. No one has every supported you. They've never said well done, you're brilliant. You never heard it as a kid or a wife. But you are. If it takes the rest of my life you will know that you are smart, kind, strong, sexy and funny."
