Whats the reason behind your choice of MN nickname?

(I know its prob not the right place to put this)

People have commented on a number of occasions as to how sad my choice of nickname is.
And although it did start off because i was feeling sad and All Alone, its not so now.
Now it reflects on how I have come so far literally All on my Own (in RL, as I have had the support from Mnetters to get me through, so not completely alone).

I'm just curious if there is a reason behind others choosing their nicknames. smile

Mine is probably self explanatory and reflects my state of mind recently.

Norman the Foreman is my real name. I am a plastic Paymobil builder, who drinks lots of tea.

I just had an imagination bypass when I joined, so chose what I usually say when I need to describe myself to strangers (now't dodgy, honest )

I was mytwopenceworth, cos, well, I always put my two penceworth in then I changed it to hecate for halloween a couple of years ago and never changed it back. then I deregged and lost both mytwopenceworth and hecate and had to come up with something else.

I sooo wanted to be there at that moment in time, I quite simply had 'PomBearEnvy'.

The first part is the nickname my best friends son gave me.....the 'pinkfrog' is from Frumpy Grumpy - who once said I had a head full of 'pinkfrogs'

My DD (4yo) came home from school and told me all about Queen Jezebel . School assembly apparently.

I commented on what a pretty name it was, "you don't get many Jezebel's these days". DH commented that I can't have been down our local town on a Friday night recently!

Got me thinking about the name though. The "real" spelling was taken, but I prefer this way anyhow.
