Whats the reason behind your choice of MN nickname?

(I know its prob not the right place to put this)

People have commented on a number of occasions as to how sad my choice of nickname is.
And although it did start off because i was feeling sad and All Alone, its not so now.
Now it reflects on how I have come so far literally All on my Own (in RL, as I have had the support from Mnetters to get me through, so not completely alone).

I'm just curious if there is a reason behind others choosing their nicknames. smile

A coffee I particularly enjoy, Sainsburys Fair Trade New York Half Caff - cos you can have the extra cup without getting the shakes! I didn't want people to think I was from New York so I just used the Half Caff bit. Half of posters seem to refer to me as HalfCalf though, which is quite sweet!

well, my ds has the same name as a lovebird character on cbeebies and it's now his nickname. And I'm his mama. Simple really.

It's how Edward "True Love Is Best Expressed Through Stalking" Cullen describes the delicious scent of Bella "I Regularly Come Home From Dates Via The Emergency Room" Swann's blood.
