I swoon for Obama. He speaks with so much authority. I could listen to him all day. Yes I'm a fan of his.

CheerfulYank · 03/05/2011 05:26

I'm a fan too. :)

TheWestCoastLotus · 03/05/2011 05:38

Um, yes, he does it for me, too. Yummmm.... Blush

meditrina · 03/05/2011 07:13

Laurence Olivier had many fans who simply swooned at his voice. It's can be a very sexy attribute.

RainbowShite · 03/05/2011 07:19

I heart Obama.

freeandhappy · 03/05/2011 09:20

i'm with you! swoon also for his integrity and morality and would be devastated if a load of bill clinton style revelations came out.

BendyBob · 03/05/2011 09:33

Yes he's very charismatic and assured. George Bush always looked totally baffled a bit like -->Confused which didn't inspire confidence.

Anniegetyourgun · 03/05/2011 10:10

That's because Little Georgie was always baffled. Definitely not a native of Planet Earth.

garlicbutter · 03/05/2011 10:47

I'd do him too! I'm pretty sure the feeling wouldn't be mutual Grin

FreudianSlipper · 03/05/2011 11:39

i am in love with him

when his is on the tv i grin stupidly and go all dreamy. michelle is a very lucky lady

toomuchmonthatendofthemoney · 03/05/2011 23:26

yes pretty swoon worthy in my opinion too ....

madonnawhore · 04/05/2011 11:31

Obama is an absolute SORT. I bet he's fantastic in bed.

cushiebutterfield2 · 22/05/2011 00:36

I find him repulsive, wierd and robotic. He's like a cyborg.
I think he is a narcissist too.
Oh and those annoying hand gestures! ugh!

I wouldn't kick him out of bed, no.

VforViennetta · 22/05/2011 01:33

I can't see it myself, look for JFK speeches, then you will see a natural public speaker, even Thatcher .

I just don't get it with Obama, he seems a bit scripted and namby pamby to me. I haven't followed him tbh but from bits and bobs I have seen he seems a bit weak, he hasn't done anything spectacular afaik, he seems a bit fur coat and no knickers.

hester · 22/05/2011 01:34

He's very, very intelligent. And that is always sexy.

DontHassleTheBOF · 22/05/2011 01:40
VforViennetta · 22/05/2011 01:47

Who says he is intelligent? Do you know him? George Bush came across as a complete idiot, yet he still had speeches written for him, he was still the president of the USA.

Yes shoot me, I don't believe the opinions shoved down my throat. if you believe Obama actually decides anything then you are a fool, he is a figurehead, nothing more nothing less. One man deciding the fate of the USA hahahahah.

Look at George Bush, like I say he came across as a total Idiot, do you really believe he had anything to do with the running of Government, any decisions made.

It's all for show.

DontHassleTheBOF · 22/05/2011 01:58

They can only do so much, certainly. The world is run by lizards after all Wink

But I do think that Obama represents a level of integrity and charisma that we haven't seen for a long time.

cloudydays · 22/05/2011 02:44

I feel certain that he'll go down in history, alongside Lincoln and FDR, as one of the USA's truly great Presidents. I think that the intelligence and steady-handedness that he brings to his office will continue to be such that the 'first Black President' thing, momentous as it was at the time, will be no more than an interesting footnote that will by no means define his place in the history books.

VforViennetta, you seem not to understand the structure of the American government very well. Of course Obama isn't "one man deciding the fate of the USA" and nobody who knows anything about the three branches of government, the division of powers and the system of checks and balances would think that he is. He is, however, the democratically elected holder of the Executive office, and as such he does have considerable power which, IMO, he has thus far exercised wisely and effectively for the good of the nation.

I don't agree with him 100% of the time, but I do think that he's the best thing that's happened to my country in my lifetime.

And, to get back to the point of the thread, he makes my ladyparts go all tingly. Wink

atswimtwolengths · 22/05/2011 11:30

I don't fancy him but I just love the way he talks. Not his voice so much, but the poetry in his language.

cushiebutterfield2 · 22/05/2011 13:41

I don't think Obama is especially intelligent, just charismatic.
I agree with the poster who said he was "fur coat and no knickers".
What has he done exactly?
The Nobel Peace Prize was a nonsense.
He can't speak without the teleprompter, he even takes it to school classrooms with him to address the kiddies. There is even a satire blog penned by the TOTUS ( Teleprompter of the United States) of the POTUS!

He reminds me of suave totalitarian despots that women swoon over, if he could he'd have huge billboards with his face smiling benevolently down on the grateful minions from every street corner.
Women were hot for Hitler and Mao tse Tung too.
Obama is everyman. He's a little bit black and a little bit white, a little bit muslim and a little bit christian, a little bit street and a little bit Ivy League. You can't pin him down about anything very much because he wants you to keep on loving him.

I think he is much more popular in Europe than in the USA, because Europeans see America as the brash, flashy, loud mouthed cousin who left home and made good.
Obama is apologetic for being American, and doesn't bang on ad nauseam about the freaking Land of the Brave.
He's not very patriotic, at least not by American standards. In fact I think he hates the idea of "America" and wants to reimagine it.
And he is selling America down the river and bankrupting them so Europe is quite pleased with him really.
I think history will judge him as an unmitigated disaster for America.
Nevermind America, your century is over, Obama presided over your demise with a broad smile and some moving rhetoric that brought a lump to your throat and a warm tingle in your groin!
So that's some comfort.

chubsasaurus · 22/05/2011 13:43

I'm not his biggest fan overall

But I am going to see him when he visits Parliament :) One of the perks of working there.

peeriebear · 22/05/2011 13:46

I like him. And rofl@ 'a nonsense'.
