I could have happily stoved my DH's head in at 3am this morning. He has a cold and does the loudest sneezes and nose-blowings I have ever heard. It is like he has a thousand kazoos up his hooter. He started at 3am, went on for an hour so I had to give in and go downstairs to sleep on the sofa.... Just got comfy on the sofa when he starts up again, because our room is above the living room it was like band practice all over again. I woke to him tapping me on the shoulder at 7am and asking me 'had I been down here all night and why'. Grrrrrrr. I love him dearly and I know he can't help being poorly but I could have merrily throttled him.

He is was a mechanic by trade till he started teaching and so every man and his dog comes to him about thier car.
A good friend of mine asked him about her DH's car..."tell A to fetch it round, i will look at it" he proclaims!
A brought it round and DH says yes, it needs xxx, i cant do it, dont have the time etc etc but i will ask at work.
This was about a month ago!
Several text messages later, DH still hasnt asked any one, said car sounding very very bleak now in DESPERATE need of work.
Another text message begging for DH to please ask around at work.
I have sent DH 3 text messages today asking about the clutch, promising A that i would have an answer for him....
DH JUST text back...no one wants to do it, too big a job!
Thanks a fucking bunch.....Im going to batter him sensless for pissing this guy around and dropping me in it as a bloody go between.
I feel like a right bloody cow now.

NomDePlume, I'm sure I remember you boasting in the dim and distant past that your dh could breathe through his ears. That should solve the problem for you.

He can never say no and leave it at that.
Trouble is, this mate has been ripped off BIG time by his usual garage and so DH was saying that under no circumstances should he take the car back to them....."so who do you recommend?" says A..."leave it with me" says DH.

So my question from the original thread title is of course how should i do this deed?

I have several ideas....
1)insist that he eats my cooking for a week

2)smother him betwix my vuluptuos bussoms

I am going to tell DH that he is the one who is going to text A back about the car, NOT me as its him that has been pissing A around...not me.

There, maybe i wont kill him tonight, if he does as i tell him. Usually this works out good...he does as he is told and we get on fine.
