Mirabelle77 · 10/03/2011 16:46

Wants to cuddle and kiss , still has silly names for me and speaks in a silly voice sometimes like the old days!

WoTmania · 10/03/2011 16:47

made me breakfast in bed every morning this week :)

squeakytoy · 10/03/2011 16:51

this sounds daft I suppose, but gets me a birthday card from the dog... runs me a bath and puts bubble bath in it and rubs my tummy when he knows I have bad period pains... without being asked...

other than that, not a lot.. its just that he doesnt do anything that makes me wonder if he doesnt love me I suppose.. :)

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 10/03/2011 16:54

Drives all over the country to satisfy my poultry cravings, will go out to the garage at 10pm to get me chocolate if I need it and puts the hot water bottle on my side of the bed.

MarshaBrady · 10/03/2011 16:56

He always backs me up and says lovely things about me.

minipie · 10/03/2011 16:57

He thinks all sorts of unlikely things about me are adorable.

For example, the face I make when I watch Glee Confused

knitknack · 10/03/2011 16:58

brings me breakfast in bed
prepares my lunch for me (i leave quite early for work, well 7am)
Cooks dinner for the kids and I during the week (and, um, most weekends too thinking about it)
Tries to shove painkillers down my throat if he so much as hears me sniff from 100m away (that one's quite annoying actually!)
Goes and puts the electric blanket on or a hot water bottle in our bed if he thinks I look like I'll be having an early night
Runs me a bath and has candles light in the outside porch if I have to stay late for Parent's evening
Leaves me messages around the house or in lunchbox
Texts me beautiful messages during the day
and (my fav) does all the laundry and the putting away

Puts up with me!

Actually this thread makes me ashamed that I don't do more for him (although i do try)... he's the most beautiful, clever, generous, kind and sexy man on earth, my husband. Gosh I'm so lucky!

RoyalWelsh · 10/03/2011 16:58

Kisses my head when he thinks I'm asleep, he went out of his way on pancake day to make me 'special' pancakes. He also does the pet names and silly voices as mentioned above. Ummm he kisses my neck in a certain way, he tells me I look beautiful when I clearly don't and he will sit and watch silly films with me if I want him to.

That's not to say we don't irritate the crap out of each other at times... But I know he loves me. In fact, this thread has made me come over all slushy and lovey...

halfcaffodils · 10/03/2011 16:58

Begged to be allowed home after I kicked him out last week...or was that just for his benefit?

Fleecy · 10/03/2011 17:00

Brings me a cup of tea in bed every morning because I'm not a morning person and he is.

squeakytoy · 10/03/2011 17:02

Made me promise to give him a blow job if he cooked me something with more than five ingredients in it... and looked really optimistic as he handed me cheese on toast...

I wasnt sure if he had miscounted, but apparently pepper and worcester sauce count too Hmm

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/03/2011 18:49

Buys me roses (knows to avoid lillies cos if the cat)
always backs me up even if I'm wrong
took a day off work cos I was so ill I couldn't walk, eat, drink
calls me sausage in front of work mates
tells people I'm the prettiest thing in the world even though I'm not
always hugs me when he gets in and says hes missed me

married me.

julienoshoes · 10/03/2011 19:27

I could list loads here, but mostly, even 31 years on, it's in the way he still smiles at me, and the way he lights up, when I walk in the room.

PeterAndreForPM · 10/03/2011 19:31

he looks at me sometimes in a soft, crinkly way

or maybe because he is nearly fifty he is is myopic and wrinkled Grin

MarshaBrady · 10/03/2011 19:32

haha

AuntieMaggie · 10/03/2011 19:33

today stopped me in the supermarket to kiss me, bought me a comedy keyring linked to our 'pet names', made me a cup of tea this morning and sent me loads of silly messages calling me silly names throughout the day.

ninah · 10/03/2011 19:34

rothmans or b&h julie

greygirl · 10/03/2011 19:41

if i wake him up in the middle of the night because i am worried about something, he doesn't mind, he listens and gives me a hug (but maybe he just dozes off...)

TitsForBrains · 10/03/2011 19:51

After having read out a couple of posts I asked DH what I could put on this thread and his response was "to make it up, just like everyone else has"Grin

MarshaBrady · 10/03/2011 19:52

Shock I did not make mine up Grin

TitsForBrains · 10/03/2011 19:54

Seems he has some difficulty in accepting that other men might have some concept of romance!

lazarusb · 10/03/2011 19:55

He's here. He is an equal partner and parent.

He puts up with me moshing at gigs Grin

PeterAndreForPM · 10/03/2011 20:02

I ddn't make up the fact hat my husband is nearly 50, soft and crinkly

PeterAndreForPM · 10/03/2011 20:03

knitknack · 10/03/2011 20:04

I didn't make mine up - in fact i left stuff OUT (and am going to make sure I do even MORE for him because he really is amazing...)
