  • Always asks me how my day was
  • When I had a recent health problem, he really looked after me and was very sweet and supportive

He looks after me and still finds me HOT after 2 kids! (I hate my drooping boobies but he adores them Grin)

He lets me moan

He supports me in everything I do but doesn't hesitate to tell me the harsh truths

Most importantly, he still goes to out at a mad hour to get me junk food/chocolate even though I am not pregnant! Smile

Has learned to put up with like being hugged - used to hate being touched when we met.

When he bought me a hideous birthday present last year (slight problem hitting my rather fussy tastes!), he saw I didn't like it and did a Really Brave Thing: went out and bought me something else(which was gorgeous). And that with his first pay packet after several months unemployed.

What somebody else said: even if I wake him up in the night because I've got something on my mind he'll give me a cuddle and listen to me cry it through and then talk about it.

Is not much of a romantic but when I need him he is always there and always makes me feel better. Actually we seem to have a knack of being in the right place to help each other out when one isn't coping - very rarely do we both get into a state where we can't cope...

What a star he is.

his face lights up in the morning if i wave out of the window as he is getting his bike ready to cycle off to work. it is an instinctive reaction and i love it. plus lots more besides.

Pandamoanium · 10/03/2011 21:45

Says that he loves to watch me sleeping, even when he can't sleep himself - he is happy to see me so peaceful. If you knew that I have chronic cough and have really bad nights and wake him up all of the time, then you will understand how nice this is.

Says that I am the light of his life and he wouldn't be here without me.

Helps me to be strong, even though I have a terrible chronic illness.

Helps me to fight the necessary battles during this illness.

Does all of the cooking and shopping to look after the family whilst I can't do much to help.

Tells me he loves me every day and kisses and hugs me every day.

Makes me feel secure and loved.

And all this is despite his own disability (severe) which has meant that we have not had sex for nearly ten years - that is the down-side of this relationship :(

Just goes to show that nothing is perfect I suppose!

I had a really really really bad day yesterday and he brought me flowers and 2 bars of chocolate. today eh has made tea and texted me earlier when i said i was reallly loew stil

lilyberry · 10/03/2011 22:12

We have been together a year, so 'still in love' is a bit of a given at this stage. Grin

He makes me feel beautiful; he keeps me safe (I had an abusive ex, so this one's key); he tells me every day how much he loves me.

kat2504 · 11/03/2011 01:13

Where do I start...?
He cooks nice dinners for me (I am not much cop in the kitchen)
He gets dressed early on a Sat/Sun to go and get newspapers for me to read in my dressing gown
He thinks of me and gets me stuff he thinks I might want, especially chocolate type products.
He wants me to be happy and is happy for me to give up my job and go and live with him.
He is understanding when I feel bad and gives me lovely cuddles.
He is just a wonderful man and I am so lucky :)

Knitknack!

My OH is gorgeous and does many lovely things for me, but that list is very impressive!!

knitknack · 11/03/2011 09:34

I know - it's made me wonder about 'his list' (iyswim)... I'm going to add a few things I think :)

I love this thread, each post is beautiful
