Sex toys for beginners - yes I know it's not even lunchtime

As it's Valentine's Day I thought I'd be racy Grin.

DH and I have a good sex life, perfectly happy with it but it's quite conventional - a bit of massage oil is pushing the boat out.

Thought I'd add a little variety with a Valentine's gift.

Am slightly concerned that DH will be offended that I feel we need 'enhancing equipment'

What would you wise ladies suggest?

Um, our sex toys are really for me, and consist of a cock ring, with a vibrator attachment and a Swqeel both of which I really recommend, especially the Sqweel. DH likes to watch while I use it. I have used it on him, and he says it's nice, but prefers hands or mouth.

DH likes me in racy lingerie. You could buy yourself some, and surprise him for Valentines Day.

In fact, have a good browse on the Lovehoney website. They deliver really quickly and it is in anonymous brown wrapping.

I don't work for them. Really. But have name changed for this.

I'd suggest talking to him first.

If you don't know whether he'd be offended or not then it's high time you found out Wink.

M but the surprise would be lost!!!!!!!

Maybe go for something like this:

do you want something for him, ie cock ring or something you can use together ie vibrator

many men like the sensation of being used on their balls - esp if balls are shaved/hair free

howmuchyousay · 08/02/2011 17:02

Hmm. DH has had a few stamina issues recently, mainly due to lack of frequent sex I think! He might take a cock ring the wrong way.

There seems to be some kind of massager that can be used as vibrator or general massage which might be good as not too overt. Or will it just be crap at both. Wink

The link I posted was called a 'honeymoon carry on sexkit bag' and it had a selection of items and looks like just a bit of fun.

howmuchyousay · 08/02/2011 19:41

Blimey, that should certainly cover all bases! :o

For some reason you can't link to LoveHoney individual items

it is a good site, though....very nonthreatening

could you have a look together ?

LadyFannyofBumStreet · 08/02/2011 23:54

I was going to recommend a blow up doll, and explain how a couple can use it, but that is may not be suitable for beginners. My second sex toy suggestion is the Fukuoku Massage Glove; it is a beast!! I couldn't live without it and highly recommend it.

On my wishlist for now, but my friend is getting a fucking machine (not cheap either; a good one will cost you thousands but worth every penny).

bubblewrapped · 09/02/2011 00:10

Most blokes find that a cock ring helps in the stamina department... just tell him you saw them in the poundshop and couldnt resist a bargain Wink

Sounds like you need a toy made for couples, there are a lot out there, you could try this one Wink or vibrating cock rings are always great for couples.

I think its important to explain to your partner it isn't that you NEED 'enhancing equipment' and you don't need to use it every time. Try and help him to understand how it could benefit both of you. It would be great to hear how things went for you.
