Illicit Encounters - your thoughts?

Hi all, yesterday morning I caught a few minutes of "this morning" and they were talking to the woman who runs this dating/marriage destroying website and a woman who was using it to cheat. Afterwards while baby was sleeping I thought I would take a look and see what all the fuss was about, I signed up so I could have a good old nose to see if anyone I knew was using it. Couldn't find anyone I knew but found plenty of people local to me were using it.

What really shocked me though was the amount of men who contacted me, I must have had about 25 emails when I went back to close my account later that day. I never for a second intended on using it to meet with anyone but I was so shocked to find so many people willing to stray.

Surely there's enough problems in people's lives that they shouldn't have to worry that their man is advertising themselves up for affairs. Last night I really felt sick to my stomach at all the women oblivious to this other side of their man, how can these websites exist it's just so wrong! :(

Somewht shocking, the disrespect some of these women had for their loved ones. A lady, shouting from upstairs, "Linda" [1] I'm shagging your bloke...! Meaning to imply, I think, sexual intercourse was in progress between Linda's best friend and Linda's husband, eliciting the response "You can drive the twat home then!" a reference, I believe, to his inability to drive legally, at this point in the evening.

I suppose I might add, the people involved are all entirely law-abiding individuals, and, if ever admitted to a hospital, you may well meet one of them, or someone similar. She will, I can guarantee, do her utmost to take the greatest possible care of you.

anyway it’s pretty grim , men pay to join so any woman is literally inundated

it left a bad taste in my mouth and i wouldn’t go back

but the brutal fact is men are far better at separating sex from emotions

You know exactly the same number of women cheat as do men? Or if some men are serial cheaters then MORE women cheat than men.

These websites just reek of blackmail opportunities to me.

A friend of mine used it in her early twenties as a way to meet an older man. She found the quality of men on there higher than singles sites.

I don’t agree with it but it went on for years. It ended amicably, as friends and his wife never knew.
