together 23 years and married 16 on Christmas Eve. He's fantastic and I really do appreciate him. I think I need to tell him that

We've been together 12 years - 11 happy and this last one fucking awful. Both wondering about calling it quits but neither of us mean it because we have small children.

Reading about some of you who are happy now having got through some very tough times is a bit of a light at the end of the tunnel for me :)

I do want to be posting on this thread 8 years from now. I just need to get through this bit first.

met 23 years ago, will have been together 22 years at Christmas, been married 17 years. Mostly very happy

Been together 23 years, married for almost 13 of them. We had a few ups and downs in our early 20's (got together when I was 15 and he was 18) mainly due to me getting itchy feet, but we got through it and our only issues now are to do with money (and I'll be damned before I let external pressures mess up our family)

30 years living together
married for 26, I think, can never remember the date we got married

Together 27 years - married for 22 .

We will have been married for 24 years next April. I had only known him for a year before we got married.
We have DS 21 and DD 14 and he still says he never knows what I am thinking, while I can read him like a book

not quite 20yrs (but will def get there) nearly 19 :), and married for nearly 4 :)

Married 28 years.I like cos he knows all my foibles but the first 6 years very difficult.Some painful times but if you can get over it,it is worth it.I think we have done well,I only knew him for 6 months and Life has thrown a lot at us.
