19 years here. Sorry for gatecrashing.

It's good and bad, but mostly good.

onimolap · 30/10/2010 22:42

20 years almost exactly.

Married for 18 of them.

Thanks for starting this thread - I tend to count wedding anniversaries only these days, and would have missed this autumn's landmark!

PigeonPie · 30/10/2010 22:48

Almost! Can't believe that I met him 20 years ago in December. Been married 17 1/2. Glad I saw this, we might actually remember and do something about it Grin

WhenwillIfeelnormal · 30/10/2010 22:53

28 years here; married for 26. Only 1 horrendous year in all that time and very happy now. Smile

seeker · 30/10/2010 22:53

Unmarried since 1982. How long is that? I'm too old to do the maths!

Hullygully · 30/10/2010 22:53

no

SciFiFan · 30/10/2010 22:53

Been together 22 years and married for almost 11. Same as most people we've had our ups and downs but I'd do it all again. Like others I can't understand where the time's gone. I remember when we started dating at 18 and we're now both 40. It's gone by so quickly!!!

23 years together - married 17 (met v young)

epicfail · 31/10/2010 01:24

Almost 28 years. Engaged at 18, married at age 20.

I did move out once, ater 7 years. We had counselling and I moved back. If I had my time over I would not marry someone so opposite to me in so many ways, (yes-opposites do attract but in the long term our intrinsic differences have caused a lot of friction and disappointment for both of us.)

Three fabulous daughters and DH is almost house trained, - he is basically a good solid man. I do wonder what will happen once the children are off our hands. I find it hard to imagine we can get the spark back but stranger things have happened. As it stands we may not survive me going through menopause - I just want to run away and be ALONE!

foggyfig · 31/10/2010 05:14

It is hard work at times. His fuckwittery bothers me on occasion as does my fishwifery him, I'm sure.

Haha, sounds like my marriage.Although I am sure there is more fuckwittery than fishwifery here.

We have been together just over 26 years, married for 25 in February 2011.

Citydoll · 31/10/2010 06:00

Married for 31 years in September and together for 6 years before that so 37 years in all but expecting decree absolute in the next fortnight :( Angry!

Please read my thread ....After 37 years......

feelingafailure · 31/10/2010 08:30

MalificenceBloodandSand · 31/10/2010 08:47

Together for 28 years, married for 25 1/2, he worships me as the goddess I am, what more can I say? Smile

tadpoles · 31/10/2010 10:27

Twenty one years! My little joke is that you get less for a life sentence. Mostly pretty good, think we are both quite well "house trained" now so unless some kind of mid-life crisis rears its head I suppose we could be in this for the long haul! But I know that I could also be happy on my own or in another relationship and I am sure my partner could be too (I know he would be snapped up in seconds, he is very well house trained - no telephone numbers being given out, lol!)

hocuspontas · 31/10/2010 10:34

28 years nearly, never married, we rub along...

ModreB · 31/10/2010 19:15

Met at 18, married at 21, so 25 years this year..

Hard work but worth it. [hgrin]

married 17 years

together 26 years

a few "dry" years when the kids were young, things were a little shaky for a while (on my part, mainly)

we are very together now though, as the kids don't need us as much and have kinda "found" each other again

I hope things stay this good until we are in the Old Folks Home [hsmile]

Blackduck · 31/10/2010 19:29

24, coming up 25 this December. Mostly good, but seriously rocky this year......

onmyfeet · 01/11/2010 03:44

26 happy years together, 22 years married next month.

deste · 01/11/2010 11:03

pagwatch · 01/11/2010 11:07
