CountessDracula · 31/08/2005 09:45

He ate dry roasted peanuts a lot and I couldn't bear the smell.

Avalon · 31/08/2005 09:46

He liked to drink a bottle of Scotch a day.

louee - mine used to wear my clothes when i was out. he also used to meet up with men for sex through personal ads in the newspaper but he definately wasnt gay or bi - yeah right.

he was violent towards me and attacked me and my mother in the middle of town completely unprovoked

he used to stay up all night looking at porn on the net and ran up a huge bill which we couldnt afford because he refuses to work

he was supposed to look after ds while i was at work but just handed him over to his parents so he could sleep all day

he spent a huge amount of money on drugs which he used to do in our flat while i was asleep. then he would leave them all over the floor so i had to hoover every morning before i could let ds out of his room

we were nearly evicted because he couldnt be bothered to pay the rent. i gave him the money but was apparently expecting too much for him to walk around the corner (it was less than 2 minutes away). i only found out when i cleaned out the car and found the letter threatening us. he said i could have done it in my lunch hour (i would have had to pay for a taxi back home to do it)

he tried to have me sectioned and was so convincing the doctor almost agreed to do it without meeting me. he arranged appointments with doctors and psychiatrists to come to our flat for times he knew i wouldnt be there, then told them i had gone out cos i didnt want to see them.

tried to thump my dad infront of kids

doesnt really count why we split, but worth mentioning that after we did he cost me and my parents £2500 in criminal damage (slashed tyres, glue in locks). threatened to burn down my elderly grandparents house while they were in bed and put a brick thru their window late at night.

gigglinggoblin · 31/08/2005 09:49

that was a bit longer than i expected, sorry

newmumhelp · 31/08/2005 09:49

He had the mental age of a 5 year old, and used to break up with me every week, and accused me of 'giving him something' when he had a heat rash....and then i had to beg for him back. They say love is blind. Fortunately he dumped me properly and a month later i met someone else, only for him to come sniffing around again. Told him to do one!!!

CountessDracula · 31/08/2005 09:52

oh dear I must have a lower threshold of annoyance than most of you

pmsl at ggglimpopo's ex. He sounds quite useful in a wierd way.

dillydally · 31/08/2005 10:33

gigglinggoblin that is shocking

My ex was dull and controlling...not a good combi. I had to hear his one story over and over and over again.
he wanted me to give up my life and be financially dependent on him and once when he was snoring, i slept in the spare room. i woke up to find his face about three inches from mine (ok slight exaggeration, perhaps five inches), saying don't you ever do that to me again.

I didn't do it again, mainly cos i left him during a holiday - when incidentally, four / five months pregnant he left me to carry a broken suitcase in the rain up a mountain whilst he pissed off with the brolly and a rucksack

WideWebWitch · 31/08/2005 10:34

My god there are some absolute tossers about aren't there? Mine is too banal to bother posting, wanted different things blah blah, nothing terrible. I'm shocked at the vileness of some of these men and fairyfly hasn't even added hers yet!

albert · 31/08/2005 10:56

He proposed and I moved to Australia (where I met my wonderful DH). I don't think that was the answer he was looking for!

compo · 31/08/2005 11:04

I wanted commitment and he wanted sex
