I am getting married later this year to a wonderful man who turned up on our first date with a complete set of CP CDs. Naturally we are looking to incorporate some CP motifs into the day. We would like to process/leave the ceremony to the theme music, which will be played on a keyboard. Does anyone know if there is a keyboard arrangement we can source?

I’m fascinated by him turning up with the CDs!! Why?

Obviously you'll need a lemon.

Yes! The guests must be briefed for a game of The Travelling Lemon.

Please tell me you're travelling to the reception in a... yellow car.

I can't help with the music I'm afraid but I really want to know if you'll serve Surprising Rice at your reception?

Also, not sure how themed you want to go:

Name tables after characters, or episodes

Print out some of the games they play in the cockpit (celebrities who sound like villains, word of one syllable etc) and put them on the tables as prompts.

Play 'Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines'.

Find a way to play Travelling Lemon

Get one of the casts to do a Cameo that you use in one of the speeches.

Complimentary bear facts on the placecards?

Or else in the back of a van, with a thousand strawberry lollies.

And you could refer to each other as MWN. And MHN - my husband/wife now

Someone needs to sing Douglas' version of Fly Me to The Moon - maybe for your first dance?

Well that's better than a Mr Birling style my awful wife.

OP please tell me you are getting him a stuffed sheep as a wedding present.

Thank you for the music link and all the wonderful ideas. The lemon will be in play and Those Magnificent Men is on the playlist for the reception. I have a tiny otter brooch going on my handbag. The reception will be very informal with no place cards or table names and definitely no speeches. No first dance either - just afternoon tea and us making our getaway to the honeymoon. Not in Ottery St Mary but we are planning a trip to Duxford Air Museum later this year.

You need a hundred otters, a thousand strawberry Calippos and the princess of Liechtenstein 😁

Talisker cocktail for each guest!

We got eldest a plastic lemon on his 18th so he could always have a lemon in play.

Yes! Can you give Talisker miniatures as favours? Pineapple juice for non-drinkers.

Have you tried tweeting John Finemore? He might be willing to help.

Bear in mind that if you're having afternoon tea, some guests may prefer the one made with a bean.

You'll need jelly babies to manual when you travel to your honeymoon, and for your guests when they're on their way home from the reception.

A collage of your faces out of pasta shapes?

Obviously otters and lemons. And surprising rice.

If you haven't picked out your clothing yet make sure you get an appropriate amount of gold braid added.

You also need a multitude of quiches, and a stuffed sheep.
I actually planned a holiday so we could stop at Ottery St Mary a few years ago. It's a very pretty town and there's a farm that does amazing ice creams on the A30!
