TA (The Archers) annoys me intensely but I still have to listen
I think there is a possibility that we obsess about TA in a way that most listeners don't

The panto is meant to be Sleeping Beauty, but are you expecting farce (Mother Goose Pip) or tragedy (Puss Cat in Wedding Dress Boots )?

This should see us through to Christmas.

At the end of the last thread we were remembering recent successful marriages in Ambridge. How long ago was Ed & Emma?

Maybe it's all a precursor to Pip's long-awaited departure to Patagonia? That would be a lovely Christmas present.

I know I am probably hopelessly naive, but I assume that Justin actually really does love Lillian. He won't make her happy but I am so glad she did not choose Matt. It's possible no one will be found guilty of the hit and run as I may have simply willed it to happen.

Yes I heard that and it struck me that I often find Food Programme agricultural items far more interesting than anything on TA. Yes I know the Food Programme is very R4 but then TA is actually on R4.

Pip (sadly) won't be killed off, the Dopeys are conforming, disasters are kept for radicals who try to do something different.
