So many possibilities.... A visit from the Titcheners Snr? Baby of the wrong gender? A ruined wedding? Re-housed Grundys? RuthRex?

Gruach Grin No I can't be bothered to NC. I've been in Blighty looking after DM who was taken ill, she's much better and has no BB of course. Though I'm amazed how much weight I've lost (not trying btw Grin ) and how much more i get done when i'm not on here!!!!!! So I'm cutting back.

Not on listening to TA of course!

I think Ruth and David's characters are being forced into a SL which contrasts Helen and Rob's.
Ruth is a full partner in the business, pulls her weight etc., but has had an emotional wobble. He husband is mainly supportive, sometimes a bit of a twerp, but he thought he was doing the right thing and acting in her best interests.

Helen is co-owner of the business with her brother, is very capable and experienced. Her husband seems supportive but is deliberately undermining her. He is making capital for his own ends over her previous emotional difficulties. He is acting maliciously against her best interests.

Best wishes, *LilG. I'm glad this all helping. I suspect many of us love these threads for pure escapism and because they are so civilised.

GruntledOne · 16/11/2015 17:48

What we really need is for someone to slap Ruth around (at least metaphorically) and tell her she's being a twat. In the past that would have been HP, and I suspect Ppeat is right, Usha gets the job now. The sooner the better.

Remember that we're all devoutly hoping Helen will join the divorce statistics sooner rather than later. And if you count in failed long-term relationships, you need to bring in Lillian and Mat, and Tom and Kirsty.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 16/11/2015 19:09

EsmesBees · 16/11/2015 19:12

Tony's obviously dealt with bullies like Rob before.

Gruach · 16/11/2015 19:12

Tony should be careful not to turn his back ... He could do without another accident.

MrsCampbellBlack · 16/11/2015 19:13

Great minds Seek Wink

God, Ruth is annoying.

SimoneDeBeaver · 16/11/2015 19:14
