So many possibilities.... A visit from the Titcheners Snr? Baby of the wrong gender? A ruined wedding? Re-housed Grundys? RuthRex?

OP posts:

About the only thing that rings true atm is the 'Scruff's corpse in the water-supply' SL. I see in the paper today that the massive problem in Lancashire in the summer - with nasties in the water supply - was due to a dead pheasant caught in a pipe. I have family there and they were having to use bottled water for weeks and weeks. It's cost £25 million to resolve, with compensation and so forth.

Otherwise, yes, it's utter inconsistent crap Grin

NotdeadyetBOING · 26/11/2015 18:11

I fear we are in urgent need of some BOOP points…. I will try to listen later with my Pollyanna filter in place….

outputgap · 26/11/2015 18:57

I'm pretty sure I heard Justin ask Brian to invite Rob as part of his 'Rob is fab, Charlie is crap' nonsense.

When Charlie started I got the impression he had done this sort of thing for Justin for a while, he was very much Justin's representative-on-earth (eg doing the Brookfield offer). He then turns his hand to managing a mega dairy (presumably it was Justin's decision to not employ another Rob). He's much more of an asset than Rob.

selsigfach · 26/11/2015 19:09

Hurrah for Joe!

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/11/2015 19:10

Vomits.

Stickerrocks · 26/11/2015 19:11

Why hasn't Pat picked him up on the way he's speaking to Joe?

enochroot · 26/11/2015 19:12

Double vomit.

Fink · 26/11/2015 19:13

Definite BOOP point for Joe's appreciation of Tony's tables and his pointed 'You asked so I'm telling you' to Rob.

But bleurgh at Pat kissing Rob!

BertrandRussell · 26/11/2015 19:14

Oh, ffs Pat!

EBearhug · 26/11/2015 19:14

FFS

Minimammoth · 26/11/2015 19:15

I used to think that Charlie was going to turn out to be Justin's son or nephew or godson or some such.
I haven't listened since the film, thread is keeping me up to date.

phoebemac · 26/11/2015 19:15

Delurking ... ewwww at Pat kissing Knob.

Knobs not going to try and knob Pat is he???

BYOSnowman · 26/11/2015 19:17

Why are the sw being so fucking cruel to the older characters? First Jill, now joe. I don't want to hear it tbh. It's unnecessary and a shitty sl - even if it ends up happy ever after (which I'm sure it will) - this crap is not needed

GypsyFl0ss · 26/11/2015 19:17

Poor Joe.

SealSong · 26/11/2015 19:18

Aww poor Joe Sad Going in to a home will finish him off.

And Bartleby? What about Bartleby?

MrsCampbellBlack · 26/11/2015 19:19

Poor Joe indeed.

Fink · 26/11/2015 19:20

On the plus side, at least before snogging him she managed a slight Hmm at his 'turning the job down' (apparently in Rob world you're able to turn down a job you weren't even offered).

BYOSnowman · 26/11/2015 19:20

Or didn't even bother attending interview for

EBearhug · 26/11/2015 19:20

Ew, ew, ew, phoebemac! Please don't put such images in my head!

And poor Joe. And Clarrie and Eddie too, but mostly Joe.

BYOSnowman · 26/11/2015 19:21

I don't feel sorry for Claris because she has been spectacularly dense about the whole thing

And Eddie hasn't exactly thought about it in much detail

BYOSnowman · 26/11/2015 19:24

So William has a bed for George I assume?

Could joe not sleep there for w month or two and George just gets run home to sleep or bunks in with his step siblings?

EBearhug · 26/11/2015 19:24

apparently in Rob world you're able to turn down a job you weren't even offered

He told Helen he asked them not to proceed to the next round - which he might have, had he attended, which we don't actually know.

I am about to tell someone not to proceed to the next round. However, there are two crucial differences between me and Rob. 1) I am currently in full employment. 2) I have no dependents.

(I hope there are a lot more differences between me and Rob than just those two. If there aren't, you have permission to shoot me. Quickly.)

ColdTeaAgain · 26/11/2015 19:26

Poor Joe Sad but hopefully this is setting the scene for it all to turn, out good for Christmas.

I can't bear much more of Knob and Pat, it's getting beyond ridiculous now.

MeolsCop · 26/11/2015 19:29

BYOS, I too am fed up with the Grundys being the eternal scapegoats (one word: Ed). It's becoming ridiculous. Even if they haven't exactly distinguished themselves in this instance.

BYOSnowman · 26/11/2015 19:34

They haven't distinguished themselves because of poor plotting and writing.

I'm not sure I can bear to listen anymore. I might just stick to lowfield
