Sexy sex on lovely legs, shearing sheep bare-chested. Tell us how you picture the good folk of Ambridge (and feel free to discuss anything else rural soap-related).

For me, that describes Ed. Some strange people think that it describes Jazzer.
Does it matter what they look like? We know and love their voices (except you Pip)

Yes Theoriginal I like the gesture Grin. I reckon her blonde hair will be expensively layered and high lighted to blend in the bit of grey she's getting Grin.

OOH JohnFarleys Ifty in a white linen shirt and navy linen trousers looking like a young Imran khan omg delicious!!!!

trevortrevorslattery · 17/07/2014 13:09

Maybe they'll bring Ian and Charlie together ooh that's what I thought this morning! I listen to the previous night's while I'm getting ready for work as DH cannot bear to listen to it

Peggy will have to sell her home to pay nursing home fees, Knob will offer to take her to Switzerland (or something similar) to save his (Helen's) inheritance. We still don't really know what happened to Jess's father do we?

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 17/07/2014 19:04

That supper sounds a little hot for today...

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/07/2014 19:11

My ears! MY EARS!!!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/07/2014 19:15

Fallon can afford to employ staff! I'm amazed with the effort she's gone to for cakes and teas. Are festivals good markets for this kind of thing? Is fallon going to be wearing a tea dress and a 50's up do?

I really hoped Harrison would be rubbish. Crappy storyline number 354 here we come...

Glad Brian put his foot down!!

Was Harrison actually supposed to sound good? Or are we to surmise Jolene is desperate? That was dreadful Sad

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/07/2014 19:31

He apparently has 'prescence'. Sounded terrible to me too but as I'm tone deaf I took their word for it that he was good

GypsyFloss · 17/07/2014 19:48

That bloody singing sensation storyline has been signposted from a mile off. Perfect bollox for Bolloxfest.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/07/2014 19:54

It's been so heavily signposted that him being crap would have been the surprise ending.

So bolloxfest is going to see a load of storylines. Yawn.

If they're trying to reach a you get audience they need to remember this is on radio 4

GypsyFloss · 17/07/2014 20:07

Stories I don't care about...

Peggy, the road, the pigs, Jill the fastest baker in the west, Fallon, PC plod , Moany Tony amongst others.

Stories I do care about: Charlie and his creepy fascination with Adam, Rotaboy getting his comeuppance and lastly Cheeseyknob . So tomorrow night's dinner party better be absolutely awesome or I'm going on strike Grin

OddFodd · 17/07/2014 20:16

I'm not tone deaf but his voice was piss-poor.

I agree Gypsy. Tomorrow needs be jaw-dropping

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/07/2014 20:20

I would be most surprised if his parents turn out to be lovely and they all get on famously but they accidentally mention some deep dark secret about knob

I would be least surprised if they get on terribly, there's a row, Helen cries hysterically at some point and it all goes badly

GypsyFloss · 17/07/2014 20:25

I think we need the disclosure of some big secret...prison, children, multiple wives would do fine rather than an repetition of Knob being a controlling rude arse like he was at the salmon surprise party.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/07/2014 21:03

'This is my second husband. My first husband died recently - you know - he was the father of my daughter Jess. '

Now that would be a story

GypsyFloss · 17/07/2014 21:05

Ooohhhh yes!

JollyGolightly · 17/07/2014 21:15

Elizabeth is a pointy featured sloane. I think. But of all the characters she's the one I have the least capacity to
Imagine.

What.happens at Upper Loxley?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/07/2014 21:19

isn't Upper Loxley where Robin Hood lives?

BasketzatDawn · 17/07/2014 21:38

Except Robin Hood's place is spelt Locksley. SmileI have this piece of useless info in my brain only because there's an area of Glasgow (in fact, by coincidence, only a few miles frm where Oor Jazzer began life) with all the street names named after Robin Hood places - and I had an aunt who lived in Locksley Ave. Blush

BasketzatDawn · 17/07/2014 21:41

It's funny Elizabeth is the only character whose actor's image I have imprinted on my brain. I tend not to look at pics of the actors but that is one I recall seeing years ago. I think though that the actress does look quite accurate for the blessed Lizzie.

I am just going to await events now - I have no speculation left in me, but I do hope for a good episode tomorrow.Smile

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 17/07/2014 21:42

the olde english was updated a few decades back to make it sound more modern...

BasketzatDawn · 17/07/2014 22:34

Right enough, Snowman, that does make sense. Though I've never understood the place of Olde English or its modern alternative in a place like Knightswood. Confused It must have been one of yon bright ideas of the cooncil. Grin

polyhymnia · 17/07/2014 22:37

Yes agree. I thought Lizzie actress looked on TA site pretty much how I imagined her ( actually dark and quite gamine, not blonde and Sloaney) and have just seen her that way ever since.
