Clearly DS' baths have meant I've missed more than I realised. Last time I heard from these 2 they were at it like rabbits every time I turned the radio on. Now she's moving to Canada? How did that happen?

I reckon that Elizabeth and Ifty are going to pioneer the Asian wedding facilities at Lower Loxley, with an embroidered pandal in the grounds, a fantastic Indian buffet for 500 guests, and Lizzy in a sparkling lenga choli with masses of jewels.

So Jenny is bored with Chris and his accident so can't be bothered to go over to the hospital and Brine is planning ahead for Alice for when she is free of Chris. No wonder Alice couldn't wait to get back to her cottage.

Great thread, had been meaning to see if this was getting discussed and then I see just how many posts there have been... Nice comments on the way about different people and snippets I remember (though I tend to listen much less than I did between 1990 and about 2005). Quite a few 'milestones' in there with deaths etc, and even I remember a few accidents and J's OD on Ketamine.

Being an unsentimental farmer, Brine probably feels that Chris should put out of his misery. There would then be an argument about what to do with his remains, just like when Alice wanted to bury her old pony in one of the arable fields.

Current thinking is that actually Tom is going to be dedded and cooked in sausages to cunningly disguise the crime (not sure what that would do to the organic-ness of them though) and Chris will wake up miraculously and run off to Canada (with Alice) and be the official blacksmith to the RCMP. So there.
