Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

Congratulations Sal! How lovely.
Hello all. Don't seem to get on as much recently.
Expectant sil has purchased a quinny buzz in storm colour from ebay so the search has ended. Haha says I the search never ends.
Speedy recovery to all those afflicted with maladies.

GeekOfTheWeek · 21/03/2010 16:25

Maxy - How's James today?

I know you mentioned Next outlets a few pages back. I know there is one in Eccles and one (my fave) at Cheshire Oaks.

Big Congratulations to Sal and family x

How is everyone else?

BexieID · 21/03/2010 16:39

Congratulations Sal!

I'm well pissed off. We usually grow some veg but yesterday DP complained that he never gets help with it form me and SIL next door. So i've just been to Asda/Hombase and got 4 70 litre composts from the sheleves to the car, from the car upstairs to our flat. Leaving DP home alone with Erin. All he's done with Erin is move her from moses basket, to our bed and hes now put her in her swing. Not played or held her other than the moving her. Hes not even got Tom as an excuse this time as he went to PILs with SIL on the bus!

Also, pick Tom up from nursery on friday and get told hes been hitting the other kids! So, not only does he hit Erin, he now hits the kids at nursery . Oh, and the head of nursery asks me how I feel about a SALT referal for him. I said he'd had one back in July and they didn't think he needed an actual assessment. Annoyingly the lady we had the appt with (who liases with the nursery) has never mentioned it to nursery or sent them the letter she sent to me like she said she was going to do. Grr, am so cross.

5inthebed · 21/03/2010 19:27

Sorry to hear about your DS BExie, do you think it's because he is frustrated with not talking, or is it maybe a jealousy thing with Erin thats gone into nursery as well? I've never had a hitter, so can't really help .

Well I got through the dinner unscathed. Maybe because after I dished up I went to Homebase and left them to it . I hate DH's family. MIL moans about everything, SIL is a complete pig and only ever talks about food and BIL is "touched" so goes on about contacting the spirits all the time. Apparently while he was in mine this afternoon, the spirits living here told hi we would be going on holiday in the next 6 months and I will be getting a new laptop . Well I hope the spirits are going to pay for all this!

nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2010 19:57

oh 5in you do make me smile!! what an ace move on your part!! well done...what the hell is it with inlaws eh?

5inthebed · 21/03/2010 20:22

maxybrown · 21/03/2010 21:33

just calpol. he hasn't eaten anything today, yesterday and friday he had 2 bites of sausage and he has had no milk either so reluctant to give ibuprofen as his bowel doesn't like it at the best of times but with no food...

I have a feeling he may have tonsillitis

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2010 21:45

if he's had a high temp that long tho i'd try the nurofen? poor love off to docs then tomorrow x

BexieID · 21/03/2010 23:12

maxy, hope James is feeling better soon.

5in, i'm lucky to get on with DPs family.

The hitting (biting, pinching as well) thing started with his slow speech, which has been so much better after he had his tonsils/adenoids out last January. Now that Erin is here, he hits me less. He likes lifting her head and letting it fall back. I want to buy a lock for our bedroom door to keep her safe from him when i'm busy.

Friday morning I spent the whole time at the new toddler group we just started saying to him that he wouldn't be going to 'mamas' (PIL) after nursery if he hits Erin. So he takes it out on the other kids and a teacher!

BexieID · 21/03/2010 23:35

maxy, saw this and thought of you.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/03/2010 09:58

Morning all.
Having my breakfast and then it's housework.
Lovely sunny morning here, towels in the machine to go out and dry later.
Thinking of downsizing to a Volo or Triumph again as we get into spring and DD3 is walking most of the time but still needs me to take a pushchair out in case.

nicolamumof3 · 22/03/2010 10:43

i love my volo dunoon! been using it all w/end like the bigger hood for summer too.

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/03/2010 10:46

Where is the cheapest I could get one?
Or any other lightweight stroller recommendations?
There is a Kiddicare offer on an obabay Tinker [hate the name] £29.99 in popcorn which is yellow.

nicolamumof3 · 22/03/2010 11:11

flyme get a mac you know its right!!

well you could have had mine...but im keeping it now..put a wanted up?

nicolamumof3 · 22/03/2010 11:13

nicolamumof3 · 22/03/2010 11:14

or nice 09 one with black frame?

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/03/2010 11:52

I know, thanks
Sorry I went off to do some of the afore-mentioned housework. It's just that I wanted new
I do like the Humbug Fizz though.

5inthebed · 22/03/2010 12:04

Morning everyone. I've been so busy this morning. Had to dismantle a bed, then move everything out of that room to move DS3's stuff in. DS3 is asleep in his cot in my room atm, butwhen he wakes up I'll shift him into his new room. Not decorated it yet, might look for some Geroge Pig stuff and do it in that.

Just watching BOyzones tribute to Stephen Gately. That Nadine Coyle is destroying a really good song.

Have bought a Streety instead of the butchers stripe mac. Will do for a school run pram as it still folds small.

nicolamumof3 · 22/03/2010 12:22

i saw that streety 5in good price will be nice to have ds3 rear face too. I know she was awful wasn't she?

dunoon fizz's don't get good reviews...oh and wasn't volo too low for you?

5inthebed · 22/03/2010 12:23

Not too fussed about him facing me, just wanted a small folding pram. Can you fold it when RF?

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/03/2010 13:48

I know the Volo gave me a sore back I think but thought I'd give it another go. Fizz has higher handles I think.
The obaby Tinker has 106 handle height.
