Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

Sorry Nicola, I did menat to add. Well done Luka! such a clever boy! Each child is different, and he is probably taking a lead from his older brother. Fab fab fab!

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2010 12:22

well rewind that!! he has just had two accidents and getting so upset. I won't do it if he's upset so he's happily sat back in a nappy now. I think he was getting upset as tom get shouting at him bloody kids eh? I will try over weekend...tom forgets toddlers are messy!

It is going to be harder with luka as unlike tate he drinks loads so is a really heavy wetter. Tate was easy at night as his nappies were always dry whereas luka will be v.different. Tomorrow's another day as they say

5inthebed · 02/04/2010 12:35

Aww, never mind. Restart tomorrw. Who knows, he might even ask later for the potty

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2010 13:10

yep he was looking down just now as he was doing a wee...forgot he had a nappy on!! he's just downed two cups of juice tho and as i've just bleached floors quite glad he's got nappy on!

pouring down here now. Taking me all morning to get on with my jobs boy now having lunch then will be ready to go to shops and its bucketing down. typical!!

5inthebed · 02/04/2010 13:21

I've been on full cleaning mode since I got up. I've done the kitchen, ironing, livin room, boys' bedrooms, hoovered every room and stripped the beds. Phew!

Hopefully he'll ask next time he needs a wee

Divatheshopaholic · 02/04/2010 13:44

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2010 13:58

ooh well done. yes more tidying and ironing for me doesn't look let any let up of this weather

basl · 02/04/2010 14:42

Afternoon everyone, It's a lovley sunny but windy day here. Olivia now off for easter hols here. We have been to her grandads for a little buffet. He does this every now and again as my sis in law comes with her three kids. I hate it!!! Olivia and her grandad have been very close since she was born because we live across the road and when his wife went into hospital in 2005 we have kind of taken him under our wing and take him for his food shopping etc and he comes down everynight for a good hour to see the kids. Olivia thinks her grandad is her best friend and phones him to ask how he is feeling and talks the ears off him. Now when his daughter comes to these tea party's you can really feel a vibe. I can understand why but it really shows on her face and to a certain degree the older daughters that they could happily see olivia far enough. They never used to make the effort to visit but as olivia got older and spent more time with grandad they realised what they were missing. My sil is a bit off with olivia and you can really notice it. Olivia can tell as she always looks a bit timid when her Auntie tells her off for something or corrects her every two mins. I could go on and on lol if i have not already but i hate it. Daniel now asleep and olivia up there playing with her cousin. Wee lamb.
No joy for selling anything on here for me. I never sell anything on mn. Hope you sell yours 5in and Nic glad you have sorted your buggy situ out now.

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2010 14:51

afternoon basl. thats a shame is this dh dad then?

well rain finally stopped but tate lolling round saying he feels poorly. dh home on his split shift soon so will pop to shops with luka in a minute.

basl · 02/04/2010 15:05

Yes nic it is. Lovely man. Oh i hope not another one poorly in your house.
Has anyone seen any nice dresses i could wear to a wedding reception? I don't wear them normally but seems to be the done thing. Something that would flatter the fuller figure [hmmm] but i have been good. Really getting into this diet.

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/04/2010 15:22

Afternoon all, Nic have e mailed you!

Basl, I have just got a dress for a wedding. Its a black tailored shift dress from debenhams. Going to accessorise it with deep coral heels (v v high!) and a matching skinny belt. V flattering to my post baby curves. Added to a spray tan, full make up, fake eyelashes and big hair and I'm ready

Have emailed a complaint to jl over the bee saga. Not impressed at all. They haven't responded yet.

basl · 02/04/2010 15:30

Now geek that sounds fab. I think i will spray tan and have nails done. So i have seen shift dresses and never can imagine myslef but like you say high heels etc . I off to have look. thanks geek. Don't know what the bee saga is? Think i have been a bit pre occupied with the selling of my bjce. Phone them anyway i say.

Divatheshopaholic · 02/04/2010 15:52

Phew, lemon drizzle in the oven now
basl, its sad. your sil sounds envious of the bond between her dad and Olivia.
Geek, you sound real yummy mummy I cant remember when i wore dress last time

5inthebed · 02/04/2010 15:56

Diva, you inspired me before, and I also have a lemon drizzle cake in the oven . Although I won't be eating any of it, I can savour the smell

Geek, I bouht a lovely dress from Monsoon in the Jan sales for a wedding in May. Reducd from £95 to £18! Cant wait to wear it. It didn't fit me whehn I bought it, was 2 sizes too small. Now it fits, but I still want to lose another stone before I look good in it. Just need the right accesories for it!

Divatheshopaholic · 02/04/2010 16:01

5in, you inspired me, and i started going gym again. i dont weigh myself, but i think i lost a pound or two
i think you deserve tiny bit of lemon drizzle
i really want to be comfortable size 14 in the summer
and i waaaant to wear dress, tooo

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/04/2010 16:19

Ha ha, not so yummy at the mo! Combats, tee shirt and no make up! Oh well, got a large glass of red so I don't care

basl, heels and a tan are a definate with a fitted shift dress. I look 2 stone lighter when i'm done up Am feeling some acrylic nails coming on too. On a hen do next weekend so may indulge.

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/04/2010 16:22

5in, what is the monsoon dress like? Can you do pics? We can help you choose accessories!

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2010 16:27

good idea geek.

I wore a lovely black coast dress with pink pied a terre heels v.high with big bows on front gorgeous to my mums wedding that was a while ago tho.

I also have wedding reception to go to in may want to look nice as its all glam skinny people i won't have lost much weight but with a bit of a tan and some exercise i should feel more confident.

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/04/2010 17:04

Thats what its about nic, confidence. Tan and heels gives me confidence. Therefore, if I feel gorgeous other people should see me as gorgeous

Maybe I need to step away from the wine!

Am at a party tomorrow night so will test run this theory!

Btw I lurvve Coast.

carrielou2007 · 02/04/2010 17:05

My lemon drizzle cake is starting to smell yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmm!!

I love high heels and shift dresses. Never been able to wear shift dresses though as always tight on the bum and boobs and even with a strap belt swimming on my waist making me look like a sack tied up in the middle Waist almost same size as my arse at the moment anyway

I'm more strappless dress, nipped in at waist and flared skirt a la marge simpson with heels

I always have my nails done, not tips but biosculpture gel in french, lasts about 3 weeks. When at work I have to wash my hands 30 times a day so nail polish is a no no. Had my toes done too in pink on weds with little sparkly bits on big toes to detract attention away from my body in a swimsuit on our holiday

GeekOfTheWeek · 02/04/2010 17:10

Carrie, like 50's style dress? I adore those too. Have lots for holidays.

I am not allowed false nails at work but usually have them done for hols. Do you have acrylic or gel on your toes? I've never had this but always have them pedicured.

Give yourself a break re waist size, isn't your ds tiny? Mine nearly 18 weeks and my waist is like the bloody equator

carrielou2007 · 02/04/2010 17:16

50's style couldn't think how to describe it but exactly that!!

It's a gel not tips/scrylic I have as I have long strong nails so the gel on my toes in coloured rather than french. I can see why you're not allowed at work incase you started the day with 10 and ended up with 9

Ds is 10 weeks, wearing proper jeans today which look ok until I sit down and everything sort of gets 'pushed up' in a not very attractive way

basl · 02/04/2010 17:31

Well my measured me when i started my diet and it's official i am a cube lol we fell about laughing at my expense. I am the shape of a cube at the to and slim legs. I have such a large top half but not the bottom. Sponge bob square pants thats me

nicolamumof3 · 02/04/2010 17:37

oh basl!!

i love those 50's style dresses too. i always think nice undies make you feel good too.

mmmh i might get my toes done like that..i do love pretty toes..as geek said always have a pedicure, only have manicure if going away as doesn't last with me and my OCD! always washing or cleaning something.

basl · 02/04/2010 17:39

olivia says the dough is escaping mum from your trousers. She means the rolls of excess skin.
I just found a picture of me 3 stone lighter with a little 50s number on and high heels and i so want to look like that again. Geek pour me a large glass or red please, cheers my dear. mmmmm
