Hi everyone - now I understood what you meant Dunoon! I hadn't looked at the amount of messages!!

Basl - I can count on one hand how many dresses I have owned/worn in my lifetime, so doubtful Though I do still have one!! Maybe I should make it my aim to get in it? I must look for a picture of myself in it as it was bought for my friends wedding.

Anyway, you were going jogging!! Much more impressive than me - I dod it in my front room - which, if you could have seen me was fair enogh - my tummy was boinging up and down and my knickers falling down - attractive and then i needed a wee

ill wait to see what others think?

Hope Tate picks up soon.

lol well i have a bit of a belly but after 3 kids its not that awful i can tone it up before my hols anyway...bring on the sit ups!!

right im going to tidy up and get out with these boys before they totally trash the place... may brave soft play!

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/03/2010 13:52

Nicola do you still have your toddler bed?
DD has ruined the [crappy anyway] mattress by heaving all over it. Her toddler bed is falling to bits. We did plan to get bunk beds when ready but I am wibbling about DD2 [5] being safe up top. Otherwise I think it might be better to just get her a full size bed and be dome with it. Swither.
I have never worn a bikini and like you maxy look back at photos of myself and wish I had taken my chance. I thought I was too skinny then. Mind you in those days [the dark ages!] you could not get anything to fit my tiny boobs.
The other thing that always puts me off swimwear is the hair removal.
DD asleep again. Toast and jam staying down atm

carrielou2007 · 25/03/2010 13:58

Yay Luka!! It took me several attempts to potty train dd and each time she was just not readyand I thought she'd never do it. When she was she did within a few days.

Maxy if you could see me in a bikini at the moment you would laugh your socks off and parade in one around me and you'd feel good

I've always worn bikinis and I think a lot is about shape rather than weight. I have big boobs, bum but tiny waist so the eye does not register so much if I wear a size 12 or 14 as the waist nips it in. Ds is 9 weeks when dd was 10 weeks I had to go out and buy a size 10 bikini as my 12's were too big, would need to sew two size 10's together now

maxybrown · 25/03/2010 14:00

dunoon, hair removal made m laugh, I am with you on that one too

I am about to go stark raving mad if my darling boy does not sleep soon. he has been awake half the night, slept for about 20 mins this morning and that is it. he is whinging al the time, I am going insane here!!

Got reply from docs but not doc we see as he is not in today.......so someoe who has never met us before or ever seen james, think she has presumed he has a tmmy bug so coplete wasre of time. Told me to give him sips of water.........yeah, HE WON'T BLOODY SIP ANYTHING.....that's what I felt like shouting back but didn't bother. Might just take him back tomorrow or something. Sigh.......

FMTD I just spat out my grapes at that!! I'm a brazillian girl when it comes to bikini's (well anytime really, nice and tidy!!)

maxybrown · 25/03/2010 14:05

Why do I never have time to do anything? I don't even shave my legs in the winter.....lucky if I have time for a shower, grrrrrr. Don't know how you all manage it. I did tell DH though (who claims to be Mr tidy) that the week he was away with school the house was spotless.........he said but I don't understand it......tut tut. I did explain that it was like having a mystery person liver here sometimes who just makes mess.....

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 25/03/2010 14:07

I aim to please.
Well might just get new mattress with a waterproof cover for DD. £40 rather than hundreds on a new bed.

Off to check out toddler beds.

carrielou2007 · 25/03/2010 14:19

Ds's dad is like that Maxy, he says 'but you've been home all day' and I say 'actually I have hoovered twice already today and put things away about 100 times oh and it's my house so bugger off!!'

Don't tell anyone but...I use an epilator for my legs and being blonde don't have to do it much, you know how hair grows a lot whilst you are pregnant? Well this time it just didn't, did them before I went in to be induced in jan (yes, jan!!) and only just thinking going away/swimming in caravan so best do them soon

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/03/2010 14:26

I tell DP that the house is tidy at around 11.30 every day and by the time he comes home it has descended into chaos again and I am knackered.
I also say refer to 'the maid'. "mum where are my shoes/socks/shirts/jeans etc?"
me:'Oh 'the maid' must have cleaned them/tidied them or put them in the tumble drier"
They all just look at me.lol

FlyMeToDunoon · 25/03/2010 14:27

Oh and I'm getting Nicola's toddler bed YAY! If I can arrange someone to pick up for me. Sorted!

maxybrown · 25/03/2010 14:36

yay dunoon

I am blonde too carrie but like a bloomin gorilla on my legs

I think DS is asleep.....I daren't look.

Carrie I do not believe for ONE moment I would look better than you in a bikini at the minute. My Boobs would need twenty tops sewn together to fit and let's not start on the rest of me!! No, normally I am a comfy 14 going into a 12....just, now I am a comfy size 18 16 if very very lucky ah well. But always had huge boobs and damn them, they did not shrink after feeding DS for forever and a day! When DS is better I will start my fitness regime again. I did lose 2lb last week too!!

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 25/03/2010 14:39

lol at blonde gorilla legs.

carrielou2007 · 25/03/2010 14:48

I just popped upstairs in a bit of guilt to clean the bathrooms and gorilla legs has set me off laugh/coughing so hard I woke ds up better get my wangers out then...

maxybrown · 25/03/2010 14:53

bet it wouldn't if I showed you a pic of them they are also white and dry......roll on the sun!! I may be fat but don't object to the bottom part of my lega making an appearance

Right going to start packaging things I sold now DS asleep!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 25/03/2010 15:42

well you've all had a giggle in my absence then!! yay to toddler bed eh dunoon! its very cute have you seen pics? its on ebay? it has a removable cover to go on the waterproof side which is good. the other side is cotton and it has never ever been slept on without a protector in place so its immaculate (you know me fussy cow!) so terry has said yes he'll drop it off in the morning.

So do you need a single bed too??? i might just have one of those as well!! Pine one..no mattress tho?

maxybrown · 25/03/2010 15:55

Well you started us off nicola

I am off to PO in amin with your stuff btw!! Finally.........

no worries maxy i understand. When does dh break up? hopefully you get a break next week eh?

we walked to soft play in torrential rain those regatta waterproofs were fab luka was dry as a bone. obviously wouldn't have raincover on. Poor volo is now drying out!

maxybrown · 25/03/2010 16:05

I bet the volo is fab for that kind of thing though?

I got him the molo ones, just came today. DH gave me £15 towards them and they had 10% off when I got to checkout I didn't get jacket just dungarees.

DH breaks up on Friday - YAY! Then his folks arrive sat and staying overnight - BOO lol. Then we go away Wed fingers crossed, depending on me laddo.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 25/03/2010 16:11

maxybrown · 25/03/2010 16:18

I haven't managed to get out yet you can see why

Molo I got from er...fabulous kids. Ordered yesterday and arrived today with a little paper bag of chocolate eggs, sweet!

We are going to Norfolk, never been over there, so really looking forward to it. First outing in caravan!

Dh discovered last week we even have a proper flushing toilet!! Wow! lol. it wasn't working but he's sorted it now.

It seems easter hols are different all over this year. the norm is week leading up to easter then week after but friends in devon don't finish til Thurs and neither do my sisters chidren who come under Oldham.
