OP posts:
5inthebed · 10/03/2010 17:47

hole here

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 17:53

Hmmm so has it not gone right through then? Don't wonder web it!! I would ask first at a shop or online place.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 10/03/2010 18:02

It went all the way through, you can see my finger through it.

I'll phone around tomorrow then. Still, doesn;t affect it when it rains at least as the rain cover covers it all. Not that I want it to rain or anything lol.

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 18:11

Ah that's what I could see lol. Glue would be better, but be careful, some mark. It's just if it frays and gets bigger isn't it?

OP posts:
5inthebed · 10/03/2010 18:13

Thats what I'm worried about. Think I'll jsut get a replacement.

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 18:20

Yeah and if not 9you are selling it anyway right? ) then just leave it and mention the hole as best to let pther people fix it how they want I reckon!

OP posts:
5inthebed · 10/03/2010 18:25

I've put it on Ebay, but am doubtful anyone would want to buy it with the hole in the hood. Its right at the front in the middle. I was going to keep it as well as BJCE, because I think its a great pram, just can't get away with the hole in it now. How silly am I!

Have emailed practical pushchairs though to see ho much one can be. Woman I bought off was lovely though and has refunded me some money. Really kind of her.

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 18:37

That was nice of her, hey just seen it, you have an offer already!! I think you will be surprised tbh
When you getting the Elite, used mine today for first time in a week after using the spitfire, omg it was a dream!! So much easier to walk with, a doddle!

OP posts:
Divatheshopaholic · 10/03/2010 18:43

what a pita, i did not see the hole bit. i assume you can get new hood for it.

5inthebed · 10/03/2010 18:44

The offer was given this morning before I received the pram, and had to decline it because of the hole, as obviously it wasnt in the listing. Have explained to the person, so maybe they will still want it. Also had someone local asking about it last night, so we'll see.

Elite is getting collected tomorrow as the BJCM gets delivered, so will be here Friday. Can't wait! Is the parent console any good? Does it have a zippy bit? Oh, and what raincover did you get for it?

TheOtherMe · 10/03/2010 18:48

Hello back again and just spent ages reading through all of the posts. Busy on here!
Not as much time to post when away.

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 19:24

wow what an afternoon evening i've had!

maxy could i have zebra top please? will tell you full story shortly!

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 19:30

oh? lol, can't wait!! wondered where you were!

Oh hope you sell it 5in

I love the console, have really missed it on spitfire.

It doesn't have zippy bit, it has 3 sections that hold things in well, I have even folded it with stuff in and it hasn't fallen out. then it has a flap that is magnetic that has 3 compartments. I want to get the tray, need to go to the shop where i got mine from. When I bought it he gave me the raincover free!! People moan about it but I've found it fine tbh

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 19:56

5in i think spare fabrics are quite reasonable for nipper so hope you manage to get a new hood

ok so the boys had check up following their gromets at hospital today. Nightmare in there. Heaving. Barely anywhere to sit clinic running 45mins behind. nothing for boys to do blah blah blah. Anyways appointment went well they have further check up in 6m and hearing test by then gromets may have come out naturally and will be able to see if its been a success 1in5 need another set of grometts so we'll see.

come home via argos for black out blind. Terry comes out empty handed...totally foxed as measurements on web had been in feet then instore was cm!! duh men eh?

times getting on 5.15 so decide to get fish n chips. Am worried about tate looks pale in car v.pale. Whilst tery getting food he throws up everywhere. i mean everywhere! luckily spare set of clothes for him in nursery bag and sit him on toms booster for the 2min journey home. Just finished cleaning that up. then somehow he cuts his finger open! says he done it on tv im not sure. so blood tears hysterics!

so bed now no bath tonight he didn't want to get his plaster wet!! phew, im exhausted.

so any chance of zebra top maxy? anything else in 2/3?

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 20:02

ha ha ha ha, oh dear, I'm not laughing honestly. Is Tate ok now? Just an exhausting day or bug? what a malarky, I hate sick bleurgh. Hope their ears are ok. We have been referred now to audiology for James and dental hospital, just to rule everything out.

I thought you had that top? But yes of course you can have it. No nothing else in 2/3 I don't think?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 20:05

i think i got it for tate they didn't have for luka..how much? sure you can't have a rummage and find anything else?

it wasn't funny!! he was really poorly he's already got chest infection just think its all the gunk and terry's driving probably! i don't think he's a good car traveller we go in car once a week thats about it.

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 20:12

urgh poor thing. Yeah prob all gunk shifting, boak....makes me feel green just thinking about it.

Stop making me get rid of stuff ....let me look

evening all

been busy on here today not had chance to read all the way back yet

nicola sounds like a right old day hope he is better now

well managed to kick dh out of bed so he gutted the dining room for me so all downstairs carpets now clean While he was doing that i cleaned upstairs bathroom and toilet, washed walls, doors and skirting boards on landing and stairs and hoovered the stairs. Just the bedrooms to be tidyed and hoovered now and the kitchen to be gutted which dh is doing tomorrow while i go for a brew with the girls

had a nice afternoon though took dd to the local animal park and fed the ducks and she even fed a swan and let it take the bread out of her hand which was strange. then went and had chippy tea dh has just come in from the shop with some choccie biccies for me

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 20:28

lovely end to the day sal so do you think you will be getting mothers day surprise?

maxybrown · 10/03/2010 20:40

Right I only have pair of Next BNWT Linene roll up dungarees, and had not planed on getting rid of those but have only just tried them on him and they fit him normal length on the roll up setting lol, damn it, didn't think they'd be too big. They are nice, khaki linen combat dungarees with roll ups

How many hooded tops does one boy need anyway? I feel I should be parting with those but can't do it

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2010 20:42

tell me about it!! well i counted boys shorts today...tate has 14pairs!! luka only had about 8 (poor deprived boy)
