I 2nd Zapp frame!

Feeling really sad today, I miss Germany VERY badly. I bought DS a sigikid boy doll for Xmas and actually felt quite tearful thinking of Hannover and Christmas markets and old German women telling me to put gloves on DS in June

SpookyScattyKatty · 27/10/2009 11:39

I might buy myself this after I've paid for the Pashley Then I can hug it when DH is away

I think I'd have got over a divorce quicker than moving here! I think about Germany ever day 10 months on....

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 11:41

awww SK, how long were you there for?

Terry's aunt and uncle live in germany we went over about 2yrs ago for half term when luka was tiny, it was bloody cold and a bit bleak tho!!

SpookyScattyKatty · 27/10/2009 11:44

2 years, twas Heaven! I think it's partly my crappy house and DH being away but by God do I miss it

I was near Hannover and the weather was lovely... and the food.....the people....shops Oh God it was ALL lovely sob sob sob

JugularPiggy · 27/10/2009 11:49

hmmm typical sold my zapp ages ago

SK could you do one of the trips to the xmas markets or visit friends out there? or would that make you more sad? have you got any xmas events local to you know that you can get excited about?

we have started our own xmas family traditions as I think its something the DC will be able to look back on when older and hopefully realise its not just about presents. Last year we went out in the forest wrapped up warm to visit the deer (told DD they were having a rest before taking santa back home) and had a picnic with xams leftovers and hot chocolate.

Can't wait to do it this year as was pregnant and feeling yuk last year!

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 11:49

Yes they are in Baden, it is very pretty, but their village was deathly quiet, i did like the big towns the supermarkets/food was lovely. we will go back but its an awfully long drive.

SpookyScattyKatty · 27/10/2009 11:51

I might go in Dec to vitit a friend in Berlin. I have a feeling I might get hysterical and the airport and refuse to go back though!

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 11:56

lol!! can you speak german?

right im off to make lunch and get these boys out in the sunshine

SpookyScattyKatty · 27/10/2009 12:04

Yes a bit but I fear I'm losing it Not sunny here, soooooooooo cold!

BexieID · 27/10/2009 13:23

Peeing it down with rain here, lol. Was hoping to entice Tom onto buggyboard but no chance in the rain! Least MB folds with it still attached which is good. Need to see if I can use the board with the cot attached, although I would just put bubs in car seat for nursery run.

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/10/2009 13:57

Dentist done and nobody had any problems so I am chuffed.
Can anyone explain how I took £60 out yesterday and now have just £10 left with cat food still to buy. It slips through my fingers.

BexieID · 27/10/2009 14:16

Bubs must like pizza, chips and salad with all the movement it's doing in there. How dare he or she put mummy off her lunch!

FMTD - my mum always said that money burns a hole in my pocket!

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 14:33

i know the feeling dunoon, can't wait for back to school won't be a constant 'can i have, can i have'

looked at m&p concession in beales, two pramettes twin pulse luna and luna mix and all the acc's plus all cot bedding toys and clothes quite impressed. Brought home nice cat to have a virtual shop with a cuppa!!

5inthetomb · 27/10/2009 14:36

Its half term Dunoon, money goes nowhere. We went swimming this korning and spent £13!

Jiggly, have emailed you.

Feeling loads better today. Making up for lost eating time by having two bacon and cheese croissants for breakfast (cooked by my lovely DH). He has been just lovely the past few days when I've been ill. So lucky he is off work this week though, otherwise I'd have been snookered.

Raining here as well today. Miserable and wet.

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 14:39

We should have been meeting this week 5in

right SK im ready to part with boden dungarees...if you still want them of course?!

5inthetomb · 27/10/2009 14:48

I know Nicola .

I got some lovely dungarees from Next at the weekend. Love dungarees on boys!

5inthetomb · 27/10/2009 14:59

Is it just me, or does this look a bit dodgy? The frame and seat look exactly like a bugaboo? Is it a real make of pram, or is it a con?

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 15:01

two ladies from my pram board have just bought these and received them and are v.impressed indeed, one being auntifi, she loves it!

FlyMeToDunoon · 27/10/2009 15:31

Wow I wouldn't be surprised if Bugaboo sued.

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 15:34

well they've been on there a while and a few sold, i don't think theres a lot bug can do if they are not exactly the same they'll be one tiny thing different.

5inthetomb · 27/10/2009 15:53

So are they V similar to a cam then? Wouldn't mind one then if they were. Nice winter pram.

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 16:20

yes v.nice if you are def interested i can get ladies to email some piccies 5in?

SpookyScattyKatty · 27/10/2009 16:57

Hey Nicola, How much are you wanting for them now? I def gonna have to borrow money off DH for them as I'm now £20 short for the Pashley after today and I need to pay for it on Saturday!

SpookyScattyKatty · 27/10/2009 18:09

Mailed you Nicola. TBH I actually can't wait til I've paid for the trike. When it's done I'll be offically broke but then I won't have anything to worry about

Then I can begin the long process of saving for a Wallaboo

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 18:41

he hasn't actually worn them again which is why i figured i should sell them now and your ds could at least be wearing them!! so the same still x
