Oh goody! My poor watch though

I can't wait to pick the Pickle up, DS is gonna love it!

How many footmuffs do you actually have right now Nicola?

nicolamumof3 · 26/10/2009 19:35

three....i think? should have four really two for each pushchair!!

SpookyScattyKatty · 26/10/2009 19:40

Hhaha I should try that with DH! I'd LOVE a wallaboo.

I literally can't spend a penny now the Pickle is coming much earlier than I thought We decided to buy the Pickle just from us and ask people to help with the Thomas stuff for his birthday which means my poor debit card will be crying on saturday

SpookyScattyKatty · 26/10/2009 19:43

Actually just calculated I need DH to lend me £15 ooooooopppppppss

SpookyScattyKatty · 26/10/2009 20:55

Where is everyone? Did my poverty scare everyone off

5inthetomb · 26/10/2009 21:09

lol Sk
I've just had a lovely long hot bath. Still feeling a bit bleurgh though.

SpookyScattyKatty · 26/10/2009 21:23

That's just how DS says it! Bleugh for when he doesn't like something

5inthetomb · 26/10/2009 21:29

I feel really icky. Hate being poorly

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/10/2009 21:34

Hello all.
Oh dear scatty. I lost a watch that way too and it just slipped off without me feeling a thing. Odd isn't it. Luckily mine had no value.
Have you stopped eating 5in?

CarmelaDeAngelis · 26/10/2009 21:40

vaude snuggles 110 feather and down filled snuggle bag with foot opening and removable top!
This is a brilliant snugglebag - not too expensive. They do another one called the Vaude Twinny 110 also - which has synthetic filling and is red - for about £20 (just google).
I have the down version - in blue - which looks FAB on the atlantic slice mura, and saves me dressing baby for the school run!
You need to open the pre-sewn slits for harness using some sharp scissors - as they are closed when you buy it - incase you're just going to use the bag for camping rather than on a buggy!
The fact that there are two 2-way zips means you can open the foot end to let shoes/boots poke through once your child is about 4 or so.. it's a big snuggle bag!
If you buy the down version - it's very soft and light - with dirt repellant material. Can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
There is room to fit extra blankets in if you like, if your baby is still quite small.
(my boy takes his hat off and stuffs it down by his feet - along with a selection of cars and half eaten biscuits)..

FlyMeToDunoon · 26/10/2009 21:49

Hi. Do you have shares in the company?

CarmelaDeAngelis · 26/10/2009 21:53

No....I'm just excited having discovered 2 "new" snugglebags - that are less costly and more practical than some of the less "outdoors-y" products "out there"...!

I love camping shops!!!

MUMOFDrJekyllandmrhyde · 26/10/2009 21:57

JugularPiggy · 27/10/2009 11:15

morning everyone

trying to take it easy today as had a nightmare day yesterday and got no sympathy on MN either my day got worse as me and DH went out last night only to come home early as i felt ill and then the car started pumping out huge plumes of smoke and a terrible burning smell!! Did'nt realise i could run so fast when in pain!

5in hope you are feeling better today. if you want to email when you are ready re the boys bits my email is jiggly_piggy@ yahoo.co.uk

Also found out yesterday that my bugaboo order with John Lewis was cancelled three weeks ago with nobody bothering to let me know or refund me! i am as I went with them and not mothercare etc expecting decent customer service!

Thinking of selling the bee (emergency car fund started!) but need a chassis to stick the car seat on, either bebe confort or maxi cosi so any suggestions of something cheap?

nicolamumof3 · 27/10/2009 11:23

oh dear JP, zapp frame would do for maxi cosi?
