mum2GKH · 22/10/2009 19:55

which one you looking at nic?

janx · 22/10/2009 19:56

What bad timing - bath and bed time and no dp around - missed it - think it went for £85 or something.
Got the jeans and coat this morning Nicola - great fit the jeans and really like the coat

nicolamumof3 · 22/10/2009 20:01

glad parcel arrived thanks for letting me know.

shame about xt think that was a good price as looked lovely condition. They are always coming up tho...

BexieID · 22/10/2009 20:02

Just looked at instructions on-line and can go either way. Not much headroom though on the top seat with the hood. Instructions make it sound like you can move hood up/down, so will need to have another look. Tom went ballistic when I got it out, lol. Kept saying 'green buggy' meaning cdrive. Had to tell him P&T is a special buggy for him and baby!

nicolamumof3 · 22/10/2009 20:04

eeek Bexie hate to say i told you so (about head room) how tall is he now? I know lots of struggled with hood up in this mode for over 2's.

BexieID · 22/10/2009 20:29

Not sure how tall he is TBH, lol. Need to measure him up! Not sure what to do now. His head does touch the top of the cdrive anyway.

5inthetomb · 22/10/2009 21:51

20% is only off toys, damn. Got it through post yesterday as local mothercare has now got an ELC centre, so got a 20% off ELC and 20% off mothercare toys.

Still buzzing from my pass . Just had a yummy Magnum temptation ice cream. mmmmmmm

nicolamumof3 · 22/10/2009 21:58

oh good for you 5in, i got that offer through the post too.

Bexie i would work on getting him used to board tbh if you can?

5inthetomb · 22/10/2009 22:00

I agree with Nicola Bexie. I would have loved a P&T for DS2+3, but ds2 was just at the height of the hood.

BexieID · 22/10/2009 23:43

Need to see if board my friend gave me fits cdrive then, otherwise i'll be buying yet another board, lol. Was going to try it today but forgot. Good thing is that I should be able to fold cdrive with it still attached due to way MBs fold.

And i'll need some kinda of snowsuit for Tom. Anyone know anywhere selling them cheap in 3-4?

basl · 23/10/2009 00:42

5in Well done!!!! i am so pleased for you. I would love to learn to drive. I started just before i had ds and never started up again. I think it would transform my life. I am always asking for a lift. I bet you don't sleep tonight. Oh and good news on buying your long awaited bjcm sounds like things are going your way. Congrats

5inthetomb · 23/10/2009 07:56

Thanks Basl. My DS2 has autism, so I got a grant for driving lessons and the tests. It will make my life so much easier. And no I didn't get much sleep. Still buzzing today

Bexie, Regatta do all in ones with no feet up to 8 I think. Any camping shops near you? They'll sell them.

nicolamumof3 · 23/10/2009 08:02

Thats a thought 5in i hadn't thought about trying there. i got Tate some padded waterproof trousers from jojo they are £12 which is a bargain i think!

horsemadgal · 23/10/2009 09:22

Well done on passing your driving test 5in.
I hate driving but it makes life so much easier.

carrielou2007 · 23/10/2009 09:50

Morning all.

Bexie I got dd some waterproof outer trousers and she has a warm winter coat and a waterproof ski-jacket type coat from Mountain Warehouse as she will be walking to playgroup everyday (though have also bught a bugaboo board).

I nearly bought her nother one in TKMaxx the other day as they were really reasonalble.

JugularPiggy · 23/10/2009 10:12

morning everyone

congratulations on the test 5in!! are you still looking for a BJCM? just seen this on ebay here

HMG I will email you re clothes

Don't know if you have discussed it already but wondered what everyone is doing about the post strikes? I want to try a buggy snuggle but I wonder how delayed stuff is going to be? Knowing my luck I will buy something it will get delayed and I will see something I like more!

basl · 23/10/2009 10:16

morning all, My sister took us to a lovley park yesterday it was great so clean and well looked after with a the lovley modern things for the kids to go on. My dd has an autumn hunt to complete before return to nursery so we had great fun finding all the acorns and honkers as she calls them and took pictures of the ducks. My sister was great looking after dd while i chased about after ds and his heavy arm. He keeps toppling over but thinks it's great fun. I saw a lady with a maclaren quest the black/pea green and it had the maclaren footmuff on. I have to say it looked stunning. The little girl looked so comfy and warm and the pushchair looked fab. I have the cosatto diablo for when i went on hols and i had to take that as my sister never had room for my bjce. It was fine actually and my ds has loads of room. It just doesn't look nice. I saw another lady with the same one and it was black with the hood sort of marine blue inside and some funky colour design on the footmuff. I wish i had bought that instead of the grey one. It did look nice. I really am confused now as i think i only need a something for when i go in a smaller car or don't want to take the big pushchair. I have the diablo but don't love that but i was thinking oh i do like that quest. WHEN WILL THIS QUEST END

nicolamumof3 · 23/10/2009 10:24

quests are lovely, i do miss mine one of my all time favourite buggies was thinking of selling xt for one, but dh would go mental and XT is better now that ds3 is 2.3yr.

Jugular im holding off posting my parcels til Monday tbh. i've got lots to send, i won and paid for a buggysnuggle a couple of days ago and i hate waiting too. Am also selling my cream retro spot buggysnuggle...well maybe, can't quite decide!

FlyMeToDunoon · 23/10/2009 10:29

Morning. Congratulations 5in! very well done.
I sold 5 things on ebay last night and will try and post tomorrow. The little newsagent said they are still taking stuff but don't know where they are going to put it all.

nicolamumof3 · 23/10/2009 10:33

thats what im worried dunooon where all the 'backlog' will end up. should really send recorded i suppose..

FlyMeToDunoon · 23/10/2009 10:35

I always send ebay stuff recorded. No doubt it puts some bidders off though as more expensive.
Getting very grey here!

basl · 23/10/2009 11:32

nic do you still have the littlewoods code you mentioned please. I think i am going to get a quest and i have a credit bala in the accout of £39.00. It is so annoying as they are cheaper in additions but my credit balance is in littlewoods. I have emailed them to ask how i get the funds back as i have seen the pushchair cheaper elswhere. Bit cheeky but so are they asking another £40 on top of their other company prices. thanks

nicolamumof3 · 23/10/2009 11:38

basl those codes didn't work for anyone else as they tried them and they had to be used by monday anyway..sorry.

i ordered my xt and my quest from additions with discount codes got £30 off each of them.

basl · 23/10/2009 12:19

thanks anyway, i just wish my credit balance was in that account instead.
