New Mutsy 4rider, telescopic handle keeps slipping?!

Is this a common fault?

I took it on the school run for the second time this morning and the handle clicked right down three times on the way, each time was when i bumped down or up a kerb so could be quite dangerous!

I've never had a telescopic handle do don't know if this is normal.

I'm glad its broke, i couldn't return it otherwise :o

I'm thinking suspension is more important to me but then i think my bjcm feels rickety with such little weight in it, so maybe GT.

I am such a bloody fuss i know lol

I still have the other thing we talked about, the price is plumetting. Still the what if it breaks issue though Hmm

Having had the cmgt if i ever did get another versa I would get the normal one as I really don't like not having rear suspension, I like things bouncier.

peanutMD · 22/05/2013 12:04

aah see that's what i like!

Bingo, BJCV it is in black with a cowprint buggysnuggle i reckon :o

Don't like the shiny red or silver (the latter makes me think of EE's resident gobby shite.s jacket)

Oh cool! Smile

Btw the buggysnuggle may present an issue re the hood and the way it attaches...you'll see what I mean, there is a great deal of velcro involved!! I use an old MB footmuff in my versa, seems to fit x

OrlaKiely · 22/05/2013 13:36

ikwym about the silver, but got Versa fabrics in red for mine as I much prefer them to the black. But black goes with more!

Tiggywunkle · 22/05/2013 14:15

I have to say, I have a pile pf pushchairs here, but the one I take when I dont know what I will be facing in the day ahead, is the Versa GT. Its the best all rounder I have. I would love to take some other pushchairs, but for a "take anywhere, do anything" pushchair, the Versa GT comes top. I have had a Versa (both sorts) now for over 8 months, and its been great.

peanutMD · 22/05/2013 17:58

Well things just went from bad to worse with the bloody Mutsy, i bumped it down one step at my mums door vvvveeerrryyyy carefully and the bugger started folding with DD in it!!

And i really dint like swivel wheels for walking so I'm just going to replace, my Lux chassis (because i can't justify another Emmaljunga :().

I really wish she would settle in a carrier because i am really disliking prams this time round and I'm only 11 Weeks in Hmm

Peanut that sounds truly crap.

you're going to think this is odd, because, well, my pushchair habit is odd Grin but I have an Emmal I'm getting rid of - I was going to try and put it on ebay at the weekend for about £50, as I used it for ds2 as well as ds3 - it's in very sound condition, and is huge and I have other things now that I prefer (ds hates lying down anyway)

so if you are in the market for a big old pram I can probably pack it up and courier it to you if you cover postage. (which may be around £30 - it'll want to go in 2 parcels I think - but might be less, I haven't posted anything huge in a while). I don't like ebay, haven't got time for faffing about with unknown buyers, and questions and stuff like that and I don't think anyone will bid anyway as they are so unfashionable.

It's the Edge (reversible handlebar) in a dark blue and cream.
Let me know if you're interested. I'm not offended if you're not! Smile and will bung it on ebay anyway when I get round to it.

peanutMD · 23/05/2013 09:54

Orla thanks for the offer but I'm wary if buying used now because of the Lux Abe its hidden bloody faults.

I'm not insinuating that you would sell faulty goods btw just that I have comeback if something guess wrong with a new product :)

Check fir a local Facebook selling page, things like that go quite well on ours

No problem - sorry, I wasn't clear, I didn't want more than the postage iyswim. But I totally understand, if it then arrived and wasn't suitable for your needs it'd be a waste of money all the same.

Good luck and let us know how you get on with whatever you go for Smile
