The old B-Dual had a tall hood, but the 2011 has a smaller hood with extension pieces that you can add if you wish to. To be fair the hood is plenty large enough for an older toddler without them.

i'm 5ft 2 and manage fine with the b dual.

cons

its wide at 69cm.#harnesses arent the longest.

pro

both seats lie almost flat.
can take two car seats
top seat can rear face with bottom seat reclined for baby.
good view of baby in bottom seat
can fold with both seats on
easy to fold
raincover is easy to put on, no faffing about.
good hood coverage with extra zip out mesh
hood extenders if you have a larger child
adpaters to put the top seat forward a few inches when forward facing.

I'm 5'4" and my sister's 5'2". We both find it easy, but I can see how it might be a bit more difficult at 5' to be honest.

Thanks ladies think I need to go back in the shop and have another look

Does this help at all? The photo shows that the hood height is very similar on most of these pushchairs. If you look through there are some other B-Dual comparisons too which may be helpful for height / size?

I was just thinking it might be diffiult to press down on the handle to lift the puschair up kerbs. But I suppose you could use dropped kerbs.

Wow twinkle those photos are like pram porn! Xmas Grin

From my 5'2" angle I can't say I've ever thought it's particularly tall and never feel like I can't see very well. And I don't run over people any more often than I do with my oyster! Xmas Wink

Have you never looked through the side by side comparisons section?? There's some good ones in there!! I have some more to get live as well. But they are done as the blurb says to dispel the myths eg that the B-Dual is huge compared to other doubles and that the Phil&Teds aren't small and neat! But it's good to see the differences in some places are minimal too.

thank you very much TwinkleWunkleChristmasStar that is a great help, must say i prefer the back seat to be higher as you get with the baby jogger, just need to compair lengths now, especially with a carrycot on. but the b dual is looking good
thank you
