I'm after a 3 wheeler buggy with air tyres, but a proper seat as opposed to a bucket style seat or hammock seat.

I need one that will be cheap 2nd hand (Under £100).
Has anyone got any ideas?

Hope someone can help me start my quest!

Oh sorry should have said we have the size 1 and the child who's trying it out is 7 so might be be too big not that it is a titchy pushchair

Truthsweet, its easy to import new seat and hood for the easylife, and I think the current seat style is boarded. X

Ah ok mine is of a 2001-ish vintage. I stand corrected Blush

the old mountain buggy terrain has huge seats.

it IS a hammock seat, but I am wondering if you couldn't add pockets and slide some board in??

Oooh I used to live near the Devil's Punch Bowl....thats brought back memories of beautiful drives along the A3 every morning to work :)

Not so beautiful now - the A3 now goes under the Punch Bowl! Totally pissed off the SatNav as it was convinced we driving through a field

Thank you so much for the offer TRuthsweet, we do have a sn buggy for home, it's just it doesn't fit in our car boot so I can't get it to nursery and collect it each eve, and is too large for the nursery to store, plus it doesn't do all terrain- it's an EIO, so is more of a shopping mall/ city kind of buggy. PLus it's too expensive to be left in nursery, and we'd be totally stuck without it if it got lost. I just need a cheapy stop gap, which will take an insert, so it's supportive enough for Ds, so they can use to take DS to the field, which is where they evacuate to in a fire + they play on there.

thisisyesterday, I have a MB terrain- pre 2010 that I used for Ds1, but Ds2 is too floppy in it, and as the back isn't structured, I can't attach a supportive insert into it, as the hammock style seat makes the whole support wobble around, which doesn't help!

I used to live in New Malden- down the A3 from the Devil's Punchbowl.

Thank you everyone for your kindness in replying to this thread/ helping with my quest.

sleepysox - if the other child doesn't fit then it would be yours for free. It's almost brand new (we used it for about 3 months) but DH feels we shouldn't profit from selling it on as we bought it from a mother who had purchased the Jazz for her child but they sadly passed before they were able to use it and it doesn't sit right with us.

Mamas and Papas 03 Sport

Bloody fantastic pushchair, has a massive upright seat, high hood, large basket and adjustable footrest.

I used it for my very large 3 year old and it was still great to push. The only complaint would be that it was a bloody tank but still loved it.

Thank you Truthsweet- have pmed you.

Will add the M&P to my research list too.

Wow, have they built the tunnel? That was fast...hmm...maybe not! I have had time to have two children!!
Just as an aside, I now have a Baby Jogger Elite and it is possible to insert a PE (hard) board into the back of the seat to give it rigidity.
