Bugaboo Footmuffs.......Really?

Are they worth nearly £100?

When I see them out and about they always definitely look "used". They can't all be ancient Grin They do look snug, but I'm wondering whether I'll regret the purchase? They also seem very bulky , would this mess up folding my Bee?

I have a posh bugs one on my Bee that is fine as dd is nearly two and likes to be in and out. Should I stick with that or by a proper one?

All feedback very welcome Smile

I bought the cow print buggysnuggle for by bugaboo bee (original) and with a bit of effort (not much) it fitted fine and also meant I could spot my bugaboo from the swarm at baby group Grin ( I'm pretty sure it's illegal where I live to buy a pram/buggy that isn't a bugaboo or a P&t )

suzie you are hoping a 2.5 yr old will be sensible?! ha ha ha ha ha Grin

i am wondering what 10mth old dd will be like, she has recently decided hats are NOT ok, kicks off blankets etc, at least she wont be able to kick off the footmuff, she may scream tho...

I think it may have to go .... I might sell it as I got it for a good price and try and pass on the bargain.

Good comment about being too warm. This winter she will be walking in and out so probably better to stick with something lighter anyway.

And I do get lovely compliments on my Poshbugs Smile

Well this summer she wore a hat some of the time...I've bought a Peppa Pig hat and mitten set to entice her...Plus on Saturday when we went out she was pulling the footmuff up to her face so hoping if she feels cold she'll try to keep herself warm.

I have one for my Bee Plus. It's lovely and warm, fits really nicely (unlike the Quinny one I had for my Buzz) but it does interfere with the fold (it's not so small) and it's not worth the money....but none of the Bugaboo stuff is. It's all overpriced for the quality of what you get.

hungry what colour is it? I may be interest as long as its not blue! I think i 'need' one for dd? she's on 12weeks and still just in the cocoon. but i've only used the bee twice so far.

Its Orange, I really like the Bugaboo Orange, it goes with lots of other colours.

Are you getting on with it better yet?

I really liked it the second time i used it. For what it is light, one piece fold rf, its pretty good. Will do me!! Im so over chopping and changing prams now can't be bothered. Think i need a black, off white or pink fm. Im rather tempted by a sheepskin one.

Hungrydragon · 11/10/2011 20:56

It's the fold that makes me keep mine, that and the big basket for a little pram
