I am a recovering pramaholic but can feel that one last purchase is needed Wink

We are going camping in June so need something that folds up as small as possible.I already have a nipper and a bjcmicro but neither of which fold up particularly small.

Ds2 is nearly 18 months and quite a big lad.

Thanks.

Hee hee...I've only recently bought brand new...I've had at least 30 second hand and 3 brand new...I like my cream 4+ best but with the air tyres off the 3...Selling the red 4+ once i've jet washed it...Donkey's are great and the Baby Gizmo lady opened it up as a twin with the basket in place though not tried that yet...I've got my eye on a vintage Mothercare but resisting at the moment...Also would love to try a Fusio.

Started with a blue Vigour 3, liked it but wasn't sure of the 3 wheels as i'm a 4 wheeler at heart...So bought a red 4+, then saw a cream one and i prefer that color so bought one...Selling red very soon but keeping the 3 in case i need it in the snow.

The quinny zapp is smallest that I know of, it folds into a small rectangle that was designed to fit in the footwell of the car (floor space in front of passenger seat) However, it doesn't recline (this wasn't a problem for my charge as I would put a balled up jumper next to his head and he would lean to the side and sleep like that but I understand not all kids would do this.) and as it is a 3 wheeler you have to be careful about hanging things on the handles. Definately very small and light though

Oopsy daisy! It's nice to know there are others out there though. Our family think we have issues.

Micralites are stoopidly long when folded. I'm a 3+ girl still meself Wink

I know they're dull, but what about a Zia?

Honeydragon · 10/05/2011 23:05

I never got the footwell thing, as technically you're not supposed to put them there Grin

I remember when they came out calling to get the dimensions and the lady at Dorel said exactly that

"it's just the right size for a footwell, but we recommend it is always stored in the boot"

I went Confused

Suzie, the Donkey is 0.209 cubic metres. That is pretty darn big!

So is a zia the same size as a zapp when folded?

Perhaps aswellasyou could work out the cubic metres? Grin

zia folded Dimensions: 73 x 34 x 34cm
zapp Folded dimensions: 64 x 25 x 23

The Zia is a bit bigger but looks more comfy and unlike the zapp, reclines. Also you can get them for a decent price.

I disagree re the B-Dual being the biggest folded. Yes it's not neat with both seats on but look at this photo when everything is stacked next to the City Select which is small and flat www.bestbuggy.co.uk/category/side-by-side-pushchair-comparisons/britax-b-dual-vs-baby-jogger-city-select/. I think the Donkey fold is huge - I really wish the chassis folded flatter. I am sure there are some more big side by sides too? In fact I am intrigued now lol!

Grin I love it!

well... it's not going to get that much use- youngest is already 2.5... but I think we will need something for a holiday, and for nursery evening pick-up as he's tired then, and can't manage the walking.

I am open to suggestions though. Needs to be umbrella fold, as no room in the house whatsoever... and as much as I love my current pram, it is too big and unweildy, and I just want something that compacts in one piece!

love the bjcm frigg. It's a great pram, just needs accessorising for the summer now.

Think I may look for a zia/zapp too.

If they are small they can be hidden from dh.
