Which pushchair folds the smallest?

I am a recovering pramaholic but can feel that one last purchase is needed Wink

We are going camping in June so need something that folds up as small as possible.I already have a nipper and a bjcmicro but neither of which fold up particularly small.

Ds2 is nearly 18 months and quite a big lad.

bee plus, abc takeoff, quinny zapp. I had the bee plus last year and it was fab. Rubbish on the beach though, but big roomy seat, easy to push and could fit loads of stuff in the basket.

have had a bee but the original one, does the + fold smaller?

How small does the zapp fold?

bee plus basically same size as bee when folded, small but not tiny. zapp is about the same. takeoff is small enough to go in hand luggage

zapp smallest i have one in breen colourway- lush but am selling as i love my bjcm too much lol

Zapp is smallest to date (look out of the Maxi Cosi Noa and Babyhome Xtreet though in future!). The Takeoff is pretty square and chunky whereas the Zapp is more rectangular. The Zapp is better really for lots of reasons. You might want a look at the Microlite Superlite too. The Bee is quite large really folded because of the curved bars.

The two smallest I know of are the Quinny Zapp (25cmx29cmx70cm, 7.8kg) and the Babystyle Quicksmart (23cmx52cmx55cm and 'weighs less than 6kg').
The Quinny Senzz looks really nice and comes in really lovely colours but might be a little bit big (20cmx62cmx71cm weight 8.4kg).

Nuna is small folded but heavier than it looks though seat isn't that big...I love my Graco Citisport that folds up fairly small.

I had a Bee Plus and i don't think it folds small at all...Wouldn't fit on my parcel shelf like the Citisport does.

I've never seen the Takeoff before. It looks really useful for travelling with the bag and extendable handle. I feel like I shouldn't like it but I kinda do!

I loved my Takeoff but my daughter wouldn't keep her legs in. She wanted to stick them out of the sides and it got dangerous in supermarkets etc. It was fab to push and put up and down easily once yiu had practised. However the seat joints on mine never clicked properly in place in one side. You couldn't lean on the pushchair at all - the handle was bouncy - you cant hang much more than a coat on there but I did find a changing bag which sat on the hood. I probably preferred it to the Zapp though but the fold is pretty chunky. It took some getting used to not having sides on the chair - my daughter felt quite exposed but she sat well. The strap pads are lovely and padded which is great for napping. There's a tiny recline but awkward and doesn't do much. The Zapp is a pain to put up and down but the fold is neater and I think the seat is better especially for a napping child. My daughter sits better in it ie no aeroplane arms and legs. I find the pads comfy for napping too. The handle height for me at 5ft 6ins and hubby was better on the Takeoff. As a pushchair the Takeoff is better of your child doesn't stick their legs out, but I find the longer fold of the Zapp easier in a car and to store than the suitcase fold of the Takeoff.

Hi Frigg! The Superlite, although super light is actually not that small when folded. It's 102cmx40cmx35cm which makes it much more than twice as big volume-wise as lots of these others.

I have no idea! I stear clear of that end of the price spectrum. If we spent anywhere near that amount on the ten various pushchairs we've had between us I'd have to look into making money by alternative means!

It isn't smaller amazingly. The Frog is 26x51x89 which is 0.118 cubic metres. The Superlite is 0.143 cubic metres. I have a minor obsession with looking at cubic metres of pushchairs.

We have two doubles, two singles and two strollers at the moment. We'll get rid of one double at some point soon though. I don't have a DP saying no, it might have reeled me in if I did. Maybe not actually! Saoirse's DP has given up too I think.

ummmm,thats interesting....the frog is a two parter though....

i have the frog,an explorer,quest (hate it hate it hate it..its at MILs mwahhahahaha) and i now want an MB duo/urban double whilst i wait for the duet to arrive and a micralite or a bee....

My husband has also given up which is why i managed to get a Donkey!!! So far it has cured me...Never done the cubic metres thing though...Gawd an all in one piece Donkey would be huge.

Oh, I was just taking the dimensions from a website. It didn't quote it in two parts. You really do have the buggy bug don't you Frigg?! I hope I get over it one day but I keep seeing new ones I like on eBay for cheap.
Suzie, I am so jealous of your Donkey! It would be perfect for me to take my daughter and my niece when I have her too. I can dream! If only I had a job. If I ever have another child-when I'm earning loads of money-I'll be buying pushchairs left right and centre. I'll probably still be a cheapskate though so I'll be buying them second hand still. Maybe I'll have a second hand Donkey.
