Possible to buy just a Pushchair frame?

I have a mama and papas pramette from ds1 which was ok but I wish I had got a travel system instead. Can't afford a new pram but we are looking into a new car seat as I hated the mama and papas one. I was heavy, difficult to use and ds looked really uncomfortable in it.

I am just wondering if I could pick up a cheap pram frame that the car seat could clip onto. Second hand or something. I was forever disturbing ds because I had to take him out of his car seat and put him in his pram.

Anyone done this? Is it worth it or even possible?

I found a cheap frame when my husband ran over ours in the car on www.pushchairtrader.co.uk. I think it's not been around long but they do have a second hand section...worth a look!

Hi i was wondering if anyone knows were i could get a new.pram.chassis for the norton 3in1 as brake.on my has completely broke.or even if anyone knows were i could get a new brake for it or get mine.fixed tia

You can get a quinny zapp and adaptors brsnd new on ebay for £99.99 perfect for those nippy trips round the supermarket and small enough to go in the corner of the boot would you like a link ?

look in toys r us they have complete graco travel systems here for £175 I was sceptical about the greco brand then I saw one lifted out of a smashed car with baby unharmed on one of those 999 tup programs. The key to any seat is it fitting your car and using it correctly.
There are 2 joie travel systems in kiddicare one for £100 and one for £200 they are both compatible with the i size base so you then have a base for the next car seat.
