maxybrown · 12/11/2010 21:44

yes they do, ok will do it next week!

basl · 12/11/2010 21:47

I have lots of odd n sods i have been gathering for ages. Books for them both and i am hunting for something with Harry and his bucket full of Dinasaur as Daniel really loves that.

I buy vouchers from my work and it is a life saver every year. It comes out your wage and they add on a percent to it so end up with much more than you buy and can be spent all over the high street.

Nice for Tom Smile

horsemadgal · 12/11/2010 22:33

Yay to a busy shed finally!

basl, think you should go for the nipper LOL Grin

tethersend, you used to be able to order the Bug wheels from lilymay but think they have went bust! Mothercare or John Lewis can order them for you but they take ages. Best bet really is just to keep watching ebay.

nicolamumof3 · 12/11/2010 22:38

yep thats the one we've got maxy!!

now waiting for terry with my chow mein..nom nom!

i do rather like my nipper, luka is so snuggly and comfy in it with the buggysnuggle (just bottom as a liner of course) loads of space. So nice tonight walking home in the dark and light run, he was sung as a bug.

basl · 12/11/2010 23:09

Oh here i go again decisions decisions. The main thing is i am not getting rid of one for the other.
Sounds a bit ott but i do see these things as investments and will get something back when finished with them. Right??

HMG if it was on my door step this morning i would have snapped it up but i have that little indecisive head on. You know the one Grin
Promise i will let you know but sell on if someone else asks.

Christmas will be great this year for us as my mum feels up to having it at her house for the first time since my sister died. So we have dinner at hers [12 of us] then clear up and walk 5mins across the road to mine and the house ready for a big party with buffet.
We normally do the dinner and the party and it is so stressful but this sounds great.

Maxy that sounds great for James and what kind of camera does he fancy. Are those vtech ones too baby for him ? Olivia loves hers. She took video's of us on holiday and we never knew till i uploaded them. She has me going about in just my nics and then another of us all looking rather tiddly and lol so much. I had no idea she could do that.

Not checked in for a couple of days and you're all back, lol.

Had major hooha ordering from Boots with that offer (all of a sudden at 5 to midnight everything doublin in my basket and by the time i'd undoubled it and paid, it was 1 min past midnight, so offer didn't go through). So, I send them an e-mail complaining and someone phoned me before I started work last night to say they had added on the extra points Grin. Do you get the points from the in-store kiosk then?

I'm off to work soon Sad.

BexieID · 13/11/2010 06:27

Basil, when you coming to Glasgow? I keep meaning to see when they start the Santas Grotto at Frasers and when they George Sq xmas thingie starts.

nicolamumof3 · 13/11/2010 08:35

I really would just stick with the BJ if you can?

Bexie yes you'll be able to collect your points. im going to see if mine come on today. I was amazed ordered my stuff wednesday and there it was thursday!! V.impressive. wonder if they'll do another one before xmas? doubt it now but it would be good. Have a few adult presents to get and some smellies.

maxybrown · 13/11/2010 08:59

Envy at you toy story car- not selling it are you? Grin

Well we are off to the Chritsmas Fair today that is held at the church where we got to toddlers. And it's not raining and it's not gale force winds - yay!

Got my Nipper going next week, need to get that packaged up and cleaned!

basl · 13/11/2010 09:26

Ok had a look at pics again of daniel in nipper and i can't do it to the giant boy. So folding at the door in the pissing rain it will be lol.

Bexie don't know yet but usually go christmas shopping with dh. That sounds good tho at Frasers. Tell me when your going and i could maybe catch the xpress bus. I love glasgow shopping and eating and drinking. I missed the last bus home the last time i was there with my friend. lol

I love christmas Fair maxy Smile I have some very delicate tree decorations made my ben when he was at nursery and can never chuck them out.

Grin basl

I love Glasgow, would love to go there at Christmas. Is the George Hotel still there? Funny looking thing, very old and dark, at the top of town?

basl · 13/11/2010 09:34

Well why don't you come for the day Maxy??? Get here really early and i would meet you at the station. We could go to the festivities Bexie is talking about. Spend the day and get the train home at night?? That would be less expensive than staying?

Fancy it?

OP posts:
maxybrown · 13/11/2010 09:37

hmmmm!! Yes - ok, let me look at trains lol Grin

maxybrown · 13/11/2010 09:41

Hmm, can prob get a return for £30, hmm!!

5inthebed · 13/11/2010 09:42

Morning everyone :)

Bexie, glad Boots gave you your points, strange that your basket was doubling everything. Cunning marketing plot?

I've only ever been to Glasgow once, for a friends 18th, many years ago that was. Went clubbing at some place called the Attic oorc.
