Morning all - congratulations nicola, how wonderful for you Grin

I spent my last day with my parents yesterday (they fly home today)so I am feeling {sad} I have gotten used to them being here.

Isobel is mega grumpy because she had such a late night.Still we did eat out for lunch and dinner yesterday and she behaved beautifully both times (although she did insist on being dressed as a princess)

I only managed to get her to go to bed by telling her that it was almost midnight (the witching hour)and little girls who weren't asleep at midnight were turned into pumkins!!

maxybrown · 18/11/2010 08:47

Morning!

Hey can I just assure you that there would never be any long silences if I am there Grin I think it would all fall into place Basl - Undra and I never run short of things to talk about, I do not believe for minute there will be any silence GrinGrin

I will save my theory for another day Basl! Have to dash as meeting Mum in town. Nicola going back into Stockport today so going to go back into the Next and ask if they have any - I'll have more time today. If not will go to Manchester very soon anyway.

maxybrown · 18/11/2010 08:58

That's possibly not much of an assurance actually...........Hmm, lol never mind ahve good days everyone - my Christmas shopping commences today!!

basl · 18/11/2010 09:12

Maxy it's not me that's worried about long silences it was flyme and like you i assured her there would be none if i was in the company lol.
Have a nice day in Stockport and say hiya to my Auntie Joan if you see her again. Doubt she will be surfing today tho.

Lillypie thats so sad and i do feel for you. I was be devestated if i didn't live near my mum and dad. That's been a lovely long vist tho and sure there will be more to come. Hope you bounce back. Tell Isobel there is no other way to dine out than dressed as a princess. Bet she looked lovely xxx

Morning everyone - quiet atm?

Well off to work for me today, different day but out of the house Grin

Guess what - using the queued articulation (a little next to mouth sign which helped him to say Peppa) my son can say a really good effort of - Pudsey!!!! then a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge gap and "bear"

Wish I'd got him a Pudsey top now Hmm

basl · 19/11/2010 09:00

Morning, i am shattered this morning. Kids up at 6.30am after a very long night at work. Daniel still with the blisters on mouth so not going to sisters today. It's going to be a long long day i think.

Maxy i don't know how you must feel but that's so exciting. Arggggh wish i had sent him a wee pudsy top. A little encouragement from Auntie Marie. He is making a huge big effore eh? Grin Made my morning that little news. Give him a big Pudsey kiss form me. xxxxxxxxxx

Flyme how are you doing?

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2010 09:26

hello ladies!

im struggling atm. Really bad nausea all day but worse at night so im tossing and turning then last three mornings terry's been up and out by 5.30am so im doing breakfast and packed lunches makes me heave. then struggle on to school feeling v.sorry for myself.

back home in the warm tho and going to catch up with washing ironing.

Maxy im so thrilled with his progress what a little star he must be so pleased with himself.

oh btw Maxy Tate was thrilled with his applique top i got off ebay some kids had some lovely homemade pudsey tops on at school made me feel like a right cheat. :But just too much on my plate atm.

basl · 19/11/2010 09:38

Nicola thats bloody awful, I remember that feeling all too well. Only time in my life i never stuffed my face due to the nausea.
Well i know you will be so experienced 3 kids down the line but are you offered reflexology free on NHS down south? We are and i took the opportunity and it was fantastic. Hope it passes for you today nicola. Here is send some non spewey vibes to you ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ do you feel them ???? maxybrown · 19/11/2010 16:05

hello! oh dear Nicola - my friend I told you about who has just had her little girl was sick all the way through so hope you're ok. She is now making up for it I believe Grin I do hope it passes.

That doesn't make you a cheat at all, crikey!!Yes am very excited about his speech, obviously it's only small things and individual words, when he is tired or not really concentrating he can't say them and then gets sad or angry with himself.

I got him some Pudsey jim jams from Asda on way home form work - very last thing they had apart from bibs and n his size too, so it was an omen!!

nicolamumof3 · 19/11/2010 16:09

Thank you basl!

and maxy, i just emailed you maxy btw. thats great about the jimjams!

basl · 19/11/2010 16:10

Oh i like an omen Grin i am good at them.

Maxy i am planning to have the swift picked up on monday but i don't know if i can bring myself to part with my lovely classic. I have done a bit research and the swift 2009 is almost identical dimensions as the bjcm apart from the huge hood. I think it could replace the city mini. Still i don't know so please don't get too excited. Sad

Anyway i think the one you have will be fine because you won't need it for long anyway will you ??

Wish flyme would come on far a wee chin wag Sad

OP posts:
maxybrown · 19/11/2010 16:24

No worries, I'll just keep my eyes out then Basl! I am planning to maybe do the long walk to the speech unit in September with it, whilst the weather is fine you see. Will help me get fit and save money too. James will never walk it as will take me about an hour to begin with I reckon! You might not even like the MB yet anyway - at least you'll have all 3 to compare Grin

Nicola i just saw that! Emailed you back Smile

basl · 19/11/2010 16:48

You know me so well!!!! you could well be right there maxy Grin if it's ok and i am happy with it then you will be the first to know i promise. I am kind of hoping it's going to be like the bjcm seat wise but with the air tyres and take the classic out on the big walks. Can't believe i am still having the conversation again but kinda like it. Smile

Daniel and i are just about to have lemon sole from the fish mongers in breadcrumbs with smiley faces and peas. I have the strongest feeling neither of us is going to like it as we are both feeling poorly today. Sore throat blah de blah and he still has his blisters on his tongue.

BORING!!!! I know but i am damned if this thread is going to disappear Grin
