No animal loving neighbour. We did feed a hedgehog that used to visit for a while.

@WalkingWombat he doesn’t like biting plastic, only cardboard (it’s a hard plastic collapsible paddling pool rather than an inflatable one). I think it’s the cronchiness.

Lots of decapitated feather bird toys kept as trophies.

Yes, a ceiling fan in the bedroom, used a lot. It was left behind, but we like it.

Not one for people but I do have bell off a old toy to let my cat know his dinner is out.

A tapestry owl made by a favourite great aunt in the 1950s.

OMG we do have a lighthouse DH made it from 3 flowerpots.
It's currently in the back garden waiting to be repainted.

But I do have a small ornament of a drake (mallard I think) that belonged to my Grandad , it was in their dosplay cabinet then my Mum got it ( it was stuck in a cupboard ) I relocated him and he now lives happily on my windowsill.

Lovely to think that small items that perhaps weren't particularly significant to long departed relatives have found new lives and meaning.
