@NearlyBritishSummertimeYay - bit of an overreaction there, TodayforTomorrow wasn't being rude at all!

@TeaMeBasil

I disagree.

i think it's rude to say someone's preference isn't understandable when their taste is SO much better, is rude.

I could say I don't understand why you would have garish horrible wallpaper when you could have peaceful, beautiful white walls.

but I don't because it would be rude.

everythinglooksbetterpaintedblack · 31/03/2024 08:35

I just love this

Thanks so much to everyone who has shared. What lovely images. So much choice out there!

@OnHerSolidFoundations

tooooooo much and some of it is just madly expensive, (£478 a roll 😫) imagine getting that put up, then deciding you didn't really like it/ it didn't suit the room.

or you liked it but were bored of it in 6 months.

Wow. I was just looking at this thread as someone who would never even consider wallpaper, and then you post this. I'm mentally going round my house wondering where I could put it.

I have this in my hall. Love it.

I love the forest one. We're decorating and have a downstairs cloakroom but it's got a shower in it so I'm not sure we can risk wallpaper.

I've seen this balloon one which I really like too.

Wow, this is absolutely stunning! We're trying for a baby, I'd love to have a nursery with this paper ❤️

chillycat · 31/03/2024 08:41

Anything Linwood or Liberty would do me!

I think Andrew Martin do some absolutely stunning wallpapers. DH and I currently debating: https://www.andrewmartin.co.uk/wallpaper

@TakingAMenopause

So many different styles & price points (£710 for a roll of wallpaper ?!?!?!) have you narrowed it down at all?

savvy7 · 31/03/2024 08:51

One of my faves

Am I the only one who thinks the forest wallpaper is bloody awful? All the colours are so cold and uninviting. Looks like a chilly, damp, woods and all the trees are too identical and skinny.

Try again...

Absolutely love this!

bows101 · 31/03/2024 09:16

I have this in my son's room. He's getting older now, so will need to change it 🥲
Im thinking about the neutral for mine. I just love a bow!

I love this.

I’ve seen that in a local business. It is gorgeous

Driverpicksthemusic · 31/03/2024 09:25

I have this in my bedroom but in grey. It’s actually marketed as children’s wallpaper, but I don’t care. You can see the pattern easily in the blue so have linked to that, but in the grey it’s much softer and more subtle. It kind of gently recedes, then if you sit and look at it you always seem to find another tiny detail. I love it now as much as I did when I put it up 5 years ago.

We’re about to have a full house renovation though and I am moving rooms, so it will be gone soon. Currently on the look out for something I love as much for my new room. ( This is it in the grey. )

Hollie Dark Blue - Wallpaper | Sandberg Wallpaper

Hollie blue is a wallpaper inspired by a little girl with the same name. A girl who love to play in the forest where she picks flowers and mushrooms and fantasises about all the animals that live there. Available in three different colours, here in blu...

Where is this from please? I have a thing about hares too, so this would definitely be on the list for my new room.

God this thread is making me want all the wallpaper. We don’t have any atm input new build. I find it so depressing

LaPalmaLlama · 31/03/2024 09:43

STOP!! I’m about to move house and this thread is currently quadrupling the redecorating bill!! I’ve gone from “ I’ll just slap some new paint everywhere” to “I. Need. Wallpaper” 🤣

Bloody love this but I am a Yorkshire country lover

I think this is really pretty, my duck loving dd would especially love it. The only problem is I wouldn’t be able to get Hilda Ogden out of my head 😂

I’m not sure it’s necessarily my favourite, but I love Sara Miller designs and think this wallpaper is gorgeous if you have the right home/room for it. In fact most of her wallpaper is lovely.

I like it in itself, but I think you’d need a huge room with good light to set it off and probably need to limit to one wall or it might feel a bit oppressive.

MrsWobble3 · 31/03/2024 09:54

What timing! I visited Howick Hall yesterday and loved the wallpaper and was wondering where I could find something like it - do any of you have any suggestions for something like this?
