I think that's a real plus about buying in London. That there is a good chance one day you can sell up and buy elsewhere and be mortgage free.

But the flip side is it would be very hard to be able to move back to London if all goes pear shape.

Thats a dangerous thing to do really, as you have to be careful what you wish for. I can't bear to do it however, as I would follow through and it mightn't be right.
