Great town but political (I work there!)

Interesting - in what way? Without sounding stupid but to the everyday person how does it affect them?

I know the Hospital has been slated for obvious reasons, fortunately I havent had to use them. I have however had outstanding service from my GP practice which has left me very very impressed, as I can ring at 8am and get straight through and be offered a same day / next day appointment. Had blood tests done and a phone call same afternoon with results (only a minor issue), this never happens in Brum where you can be 80th in the queue at 8am.

Abbey Foregate at last resurfaced, refuse collection good and new bins recently delivered, very impressed with local college for my two teens. Recycling centre you do not need an appointment like in brum where you can only go once per week per household.

I suspect though comparing it to Birmingham isnt fair and if you have lived here a long time you notice things more than I would.
