Anyone got a mortgage with Nationwide lately ? If so hong long did it take until you got your offer through ?

We started the application on July 22nd they did the valuation on the 26th . We got the offer Aug 11th .
I would def put yours back on the market . He's clearly not got the funds .

It depends on whether your buyers are using brokers or not. It will be slower direct with a lender, and also the 8 working days does start again every time a document is provided. It’s not just nationwide, the lenders in general are terribly slow at the moment. for example, HSBC are quoting 24 working days! Try to give them a little more time, ultimately if you re-market the property it will be at cost to you and another buyer will just need to start the process again.

@StarryEyed88 They are direct with the bank. Valuation was done on our house on the 24th June .
We can't keep waiting for his mortgage we are now in the 9th week since the valuation .

@knickersniff did you receive an email to say you've got your mortgage offer and then the mortgage documents sent separately in another email or all at the same time?

How long did it take for your solicitor to be issued with a copy of the mortgage?

Our offer came through the post yesterday and they also sent it to the solicitor.
