I think the word is unique…! If the colours weren’t enough to give you a headache, trying to work out what all the pictures are will.

I think Princess Di in photo 9 is my favourite.

Um… 🤣 One question… were they on acid? 🤣

NameChangeCity123 · 11/03/2022 15:06

I can't stop looking at it 😂😂

OvOvO · 11/03/2022 15:08

Oh my 🙀

Fernandina · 11/03/2022 15:10

Holy guacamole, that's a house that needs sunglasses worn indoors if ever I saw one.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 11/03/2022 15:12

I moved onto a flat that was decorated just like that. Let me tell you it was so bloody hard to paint over!! Dulux Once should be renamed Dulux Thrice!

Comefromaway · 11/03/2022 15:15

We are delighted to offer for sale this three bedroom, upper cottage flat, situated which requires a degree of cosmetic upgrading

No shit Sherlock!

Mummyoflittledragon · 11/03/2022 15:31

Very creative and funny! I also think it looks like a former squat or drug den.

@Ylvamoon
The bathroom ceiling like everything else has got to go. Polystyrene tiles everywhere!

Smokeahontas · 11/03/2022 15:34

The Diana pic is sending me 😭

Lightstoobright · 11/03/2022 15:34

I think the artwork and colour combination are actually really excellent. I'd assume the person that did this is actually a really decent artist.
The carpet combo is dreadful though.

maddiemookins16mum · 11/03/2022 15:40

The steps would knacker me, fancy carrying your messages up them every day.

1forAll74 · 11/03/2022 15:41

No grey walls great. Not sure what kind of furniture would suit in all those rooms.. works of art all over some would say..

JeffThePilot · 11/03/2022 15:42

@NewYearCalavicci

Umm that's interesting psit work. Pic 7 , is it the painting on the ceiling that makes it look like the wall are not straight or is it just me .

I wonder if they painted like this jyst before it went on the market to get in MN and get free advertising and hike the pice up .
Go on @JeffThePilot it's your house really isn't it Grin 😆😆😆😆

Haha, while my own taste could be described as unusual I don’t think I’d go that far 😂

Just sent it to my ex who is looking for somewhere to live up there. Not sure it is to his taste but made me smile

I love the use of “messages”. My Great Aunt used that expression when she went bought her cottage. “Near enough to the town to do my messages”
Franklyfrost · 11/03/2022 16:03

I sort of love it! Very Nathalie Lete.

HattieMacTattie · 11/03/2022 16:23

Cottage Flat is a flat in a block of 4 (2 ground floor, 2 upper floor), not sure the phrase is used elsewhere but is definitely used in Glasgow

Goonergirl14 · 11/03/2022 16:27

There is absolutely no sound proofing in these flats that's why they are so reasonably priced. It's very em retro..

HugsAlwaysAvailable · 11/03/2022 16:28

I KNEW it would be this one!! My DH sent me the link earlier to have a look at how horrific it is.

prettyteapotsplease · 11/03/2022 16:30

Ooh 'eck - it's certainly individual. If those patterns had just been confined to cushion covers they wouldn't be so overwhelming. In a way it's a shame that one person's unusual taste has probably devalued the property.

September29th · 11/03/2022 16:41

I have just found inspiration to paint my house. All I need is the energy, or the artist.

pepsirolla · 11/03/2022 16:49

I actually like it, apart from the carpets and the polystyrene. Better than the usual grey, Next, live life love dance in rain crapGrin

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 11/03/2022 16:55

I think it's been an elderly person's home - look at the grab handles in the bathroom, and the swirly carpet. What happened next is anybody's guess, but yes, possibly a squat as has been suggested.

A steal for somebody happy to do a bit of work though, it would be easy to add quite a bit of value and move on in a year.

Changeychangey · 11/03/2022 17:17

It's LITERALLY around the corner from me! It's a steal at the price if you're happy to live in Kings Park/Castlemilk. My 4 bed detached cost £167k 10 years ago. It's the postcode that's keeping the price low!!

CaptainMyCaptain · 11/03/2022 17:22

@Davethecat2001

That was clearly a squat
That's what I thought - but in such a suburban location! It looks like they lived there for some time.

Wow!

Hairbrush123 · 11/03/2022 17:23

That’s a bargain!
