Beautiful house with a quirk...

Forgetting the ‘quirk’ for a minute, the cottage is stunning, absolutely beautiful, picture postcard.....until you click on street view....dreams shattered, heart broken, not only right on a main road but a public car park right beside it.

God, that's sad isn't it? When you look at the Streetview, you can also see the tide mark up the wall . Could be such a beautiful house. On the plus side though, the pub across the road does a 2 course lunch for a tenner apparently, so it's not all bad!

The EA photos were taken after a hot dry spell weren't they? On street view the river is a lot less picturesque! Cripes ! I wouldn't want that swirling past one side of the house and lorries on the other. Such a lovely house apart from the location. I dread to think how much it would be 30metres back on the other side of the road!

Does the house come with an ark or lifeboat?

I would insist it is left behind by the current owners as an essential fixture and fitting...!

For Tiverton way that's really, really expensive, though. I mean, it's a lot of house so I get it, but still.
