Cooking on induction

Do you all like it? Why? Does it compare to gas?

My next property (hopefully) has no mains gas so was hoping to use calor gas. DH says he'd like induction as it's less of a faff.

Looking to hear all opinions please!

Which are the best brand induction hobs in everyone's opinion, I'm hoping to move to a bungalow where there isn't any gas on the estate, the heating & hot water is powered by the burning of waste by the refuse collections & you just pay a basic fee no matter how much heating you use.

I think there are inductions and inductions if you know what I mean. Some are better than others.

No doubt true. But equally, in my experience cooking with calor gas is very different to having mains gas. I get the impression that most of those who favour gas here are specifically talking about mains gas. OP doesn't have that option. The question is, how does induction compare with Calor (plus it looks like OP has already decided!).

Mine is a neff induction hob not the cheapest one N70 I think it was but an N90 I think which is brilliant, very responsive.
