Jesus Grin There's industrial and then there's...

To be fair I think it's mostly that the photos are awful, but still.

Oh that's awful. What's that mattress all about? Who on earth could sleep there? You're right - that part of it is like a squat.

I've never liked open brickwork anyway - I'm amazed when people walk into a house that's like the inside of a shed and think it's great.

cuttingcarbonemissions · 03/02/2018 12:32

It’s like expensive jeans with holes in them. You have to be on the right wave length (and in the right income bracket) to fully appreciate them. Grin

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 03/02/2018 12:33

Plastering that lot’s going to cost a fortune. Do you think they’ll knock it off the price? Wink

Ratspit · 03/02/2018 12:38

I actually quite like that, but are those bricks sealed? Imagine the dust!

rightsaidfrederickII · 03/02/2018 12:42

£34m and you don't even get a garden! www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-51233625.html

Rumpledfaceskin · 03/02/2018 12:43

That’s ridiculous. So it’s basically a room for 2.5 mil? Who? How? Why????? Why would anyone buy this?!

HeatedCatFurniture · 03/02/2018 12:43

Exposed bricks always make me think of spiders.

OP posts:
spiney · 03/02/2018 12:45

Loves very very dark. No thanks.

youarenotkiddingme · 03/02/2018 12:54

I laughed the most at the floor plan. I mean why do you draw a plan of a rectangle dwelling?!

And yes they should have called the bedroom - mattress 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

senua · 03/02/2018 13:01

That warehouse flat is utterly depressing.
The wall that they have built opposite the row of units kitchen looks like the serving hatch of a canteen with the shutter down, which only adds to the feeling of "'everyone else has gone home and I'm left here on my own with the spiders."'

WunWegWunDarWun · 03/02/2018 13:02

I really love it. I don't think you've been to many squats!

SinglePringle · 03/02/2018 13:03

I really like it.

BattleaxeGalactica · 03/02/2018 13:03

I quite like the decor but the heating bills must be horrendous.

What's the black round thing by the mattress? Ensuite toilette? Grin

SinglePringle · 03/02/2018 13:04

And the Belgravia one does have a garden / terrace Confused

megletthesecond · 03/02/2018 13:06

The squat would be a nightmare to keep warm in the winter. It's one huge draught waiting to happen.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 03/02/2018 13:07

There's no storage!
Where do you put all your crap?
(or maybe you have to sell all your stuff to be able to afford this...)

Oliversmumsarmy · 03/02/2018 13:07

I don't care about having no garden if I could have that bathroom

It's a studio that's bigger than my house...

rightsaidfrederickII · 03/02/2018 13:36

@SinglePringle - an overspecced balcony / patio thing is not the same as a garden.

DuckOffAutocorrectYouShiv · 03/02/2018 13:40

You’ve been to some very chic squats, OP.

DuckOffAutocorrectYouShiv · 03/02/2018 13:43

It is 2000sqft. Bigger than the average UK home, it’s just an open plan loft style space. You could easily sub divide if you wanted.

SchrodingersFrilledLizard · 03/02/2018 13:47

It looks hideously uncomfortable. I'll bet it echoes and is a beast to heat.

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 03/02/2018 13:48

That Belgravia one is lovely.

SinglePringle · 03/02/2018 13:58

It’s an apartment with a decent amount of outside space, slap bang in central London. I’d consider it a garden
