SW London three bed - possible?

Hi there,

Looking to narrow down/pin point areas to search for the following:

  • three bed house (not flat)
  • period
  • garden
  • good local primary and ideally secondary
  • manageable commute into Waterloo
  • village feel (absolute dream/lottery win location would be Barnes)

Is this an impossible ask for £800k?!

Areas identified so far are St Margarets, Twickenham, and possibly some bits of the Wimbledon area

Thank you for your help.

What about Sheen? The problem with all the areas you have listed is being right under the flight path. You couldn’t pay me to live in otherwise lovely Barnes for that reason.

Yes I love Sheen and it’s on the list. I completely hear you re: the flight path but I live under it at the moment so maybe less of a problem for us.

If you need good access to Waterloo then would you consider South East London instead of South West? The lines that run through Blackheath/Hither Green/Lee go to Waterloo east in 15-20 mins
For your budget you'd get a period property and the schools in that area are fab (have relatives in that neck of the woods!)
