90cm Range Cooker Recommendations??

We're renovating our kitchen and need a new range cooker as the one that came with the house has stopped working.

I was looking at the Aga Masterchef and the Falcon (I know they're both Aga-owned!) but as it's such a huge chunk of our budget I'm scared to commit to a purchase!

Does anyone own a 90cm range that they love and could recommend? I cook a lot so needs to stand up to heavy usage.

We have a Stoves Sterling electric induction, albeit the 110cm one. It's brilliant.

We have a lacanche and blew the budget. Have never regretted it but not sure they do 90cm.

Otherwise look on ao we bought our original from them and it was great but then moved and splurged 😳

Window it has made the world of difference after 7 years with single ovens with the grill inside and gas hobs. The instruction manual is the most complicated thing you've ever read (I gave up after I managed to set the clock and figured out the timer), but it's actually fairly intuitive to use. The ovens take about five minutes to get to temperature.

I'm a fairly serious cook ameteur cook and bought this after lots and lots of research. I wanted a big oven and a small one, many 900mm cookers only have 1 oven, a separate grill rather than a storage drawer and I wasn't bothered about times etc. We looked at a variety including Rangemasters (I believe it's all the same company) which quite a few of my friends have but the build quality was vastly superior and the oven have proven to be excellent for cakes which I cook a lot. It's used on a daily basis it looks as good as the day I bought it and it been very easy to look after which is an added bonus. It wasn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination but I do t I tend to move house ever again so looked on it as a long term investment, I've never regretted it. I bought the blue one on a whim (normally I'd have gone for stainless steel) without even seeing it in the show room and love it.

I have the rangemaster classic deluxe dual fuel.

Love it. One multifunction oven, one fan, separate grill.

I have had a single oven zanussi which was utter shit, and a dual oven Own brand which was ok, but build quality was not great and bits kept breaking, so it was cheaper to replace.

I think as long as you stick to a good range specialist brand you'll be fine.

I vote for Rangemaster. We had to leave our fab Rangemaster in our last house. The new kitchen has 3 very complex built in ovens. Eventually when the kitchen gets old, I'm back to a Rangemaster!

Have a look at the range master professional fxp. Ive got this one and it converts from two side by side ovens for efficiency to one big one when you need to do massive dinners. Plus it looks nice and also cleans itself :)

I have a Falcon. I have had it for 10 years and it looks brand new. It really is thing of beauty. When our house was on the market nearly everyone who viewed actually STROKED it!

If you can afford the Aga they really do look amazing, though. We just couldn't afford it but if you can then I would get one!

I have never had induction, but wouldn't choose it because of the cost. They are significantly more expensive, and there's also the expense of buying new pans and cookware.

I have a 90cm Rangemaster with induction hob, I previously had the 110cm gas. Loved the old one but love the induction hob even more! So much easier to clean, just wipe over with cloth and it's like newSmile

my mums falcon is 25 years old and in great nick. good investment. she's recently decided she'd like something different so is trying to kill it, only because after 25 years she'd like to see something different 😁. A cheaper option will always need replacing sooner, but at 5k over 25 years you are talking a seriously little amount in comparison to £700 for 3 years.....

well ok little amount is a bit of a blurry statement but i don't begrudge that amount over 10 years currently with my oven and literally NO problems with the oven in that time. still looks as good as new now and is a focus point. intend to keep it for another 10 years or sell for 50% of the original cost.

We have a Stoves 100cm dual fuel range cooker and previously had the 60cm version. Absolutely love it and would definitely recommend Stoves in general. We didn't look at induction as I prefer gas hobs but they do induction versions as well.

I preferred the look of Stoves as I think they look more modern than traditional range cookers.

I'm really impressed with the induction hob on our Stoves range having had gas for many years. The cooker is A+ rated for electricity consumption.

I've got the Rangemaster professional deluxe, it's brilliant. Bought it from a local independent retailer on an 'offer' weekend and it was cheaper than AO or John Lewis AND they stocked all the colours (I went for the grey as I didn't want stainless steel). It's had two years of hard use and still looks brand new, I can't fault it. The show room also had a large range of them to look at so I could play with dials and doors.

I was told to avoid SMEG ones as they aren't reliable.

@strawhatsandflipflops we're looking to replace our 100cmBritannia range with a Falcon , have you got induction hob and are you happy with it.
Our Britannia has been quite disappointing , have had it for 12 years but door hinges are buggered , one door skin has come off and temperature is way off. Too expensive in my mind to get fixed and really want to change from gas to induction for ease of cleaning and also change from stainless steel to a colour.

I was eyeing up the Ringmaster Elise but was looking at one in store and now not sure , Falcon was so much sturdier.

I've got a Rangemaster Nexus. I thought it looks and feels sturdier than some of the other models.

Range master!! We have the one with electric smaller oven and gas large oven and hob
My friend has an induction job and it's a pain, also needs to buy special pans
