I think it's so pretty BUT is it a little tacky? And will it date quickly? It's to go with a China Blue RangeMaster and dark grey units.
Thanks all!

It's not to my taste and I think it will date but I don't think it is tacky. If you like it, go for it - I imagine it would be quite straightforward to replace if you get sick of it.

DaisyAdair · 09/04/2016 21:49

I don't think it's tacky at all, it's gorgeous.

Hobbes8 · 09/04/2016 21:50

I LOVE them! It wouldn't date anymore than wallpaper, and would be just as easy/expensive to replace.

stareatthetvscreen · 09/04/2016 21:53

i love it too

if easy to replace then go for it

justdontevenfuckingstart · 09/04/2016 21:53

They are beautiful ( IMO) just be aware that it will have the Ted baker logo in the bottom right hand corner. They are tempered glass so don't cut them and make sure you use an S1 adhesive.

SugarDiabetes · 09/04/2016 21:53

Bloody gorgeous!!

MrsBungle · 09/04/2016 21:55

I love it.

RJnomore1 · 09/04/2016 21:58

I think it's really pretty. I don't really do patterns in the house but that would make me consider it.

bearbehind · 09/04/2016 22:02

I love the pattern but not for a kitchen - to me it just doesn't 'work' as a splash back

Charlieandlola · 09/04/2016 22:03

I was expecting to find it vulgar but it's lovely !

justdontevenfuckingstart · 09/04/2016 22:04

fancy have a look at Original Style Glassworks if you haven't already. Lots of nice stuff there.

lebkucken · 09/04/2016 22:15

I love it. It reminds me of the laura Ashley Summer Palace print.

SaveSomeSpendSome · 09/04/2016 22:20

I love it!

OnePlanOnHouzz · 09/04/2016 22:24

On the fence here ...

fancyacoffee · 09/04/2016 22:28

Thank you everyone - really useful to get your first reactions to it. I think my worry is that is looks more bedroomy than kitcheny.
Justdont - thanks for the link, will take a look.

Would love any ideas on what will work with my oven - www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/cooking/cookers/rangemaster-elise-110-dual-fuel-range-cooker-china-blue-chrome-21494977-pdt.html

I really like it but think it would date quite fast.
That oven is stunning !! Want one.

justdontevenfuckingstart · 09/04/2016 22:35

fancy just carry on tiling (assuming you are) into the splashback behind the range. Putting another element in will be too busy I think. Marlborough do lots of nice stuff too.

Cocolepew · 09/04/2016 22:38

It's gorgeous

Pinkheart5915 · 09/04/2016 22:39

It wouldn't be to my taste and wouldn't look good in my kitchen but I don't think it's tacky

Sparkletastic · 09/04/2016 22:41

Love it

ChickadeeChick · 09/04/2016 23:15

I love it. I love anything with birds on! I actually want this for my kitchen. Doubt I will get it past DP though Angry

GasLightShining · 10/04/2016 00:24

Quite like it

Kaddy · 10/04/2016 00:29

I LOVE it and as long as the rest of the tiling/cabinets/work surface is kept simple I think it won't date that quickly, and even if it does you can replace it.

I think it would look fabulous with that cooker.

SealSong · 10/04/2016 01:56

That cooker is stunning, and I really think that the splashback, much as I like it, would not go with it at all. It would compete for attention and clash horribly. That fabulous cooker needs a simple surround that shows it off, not detracts from it.
