I think it's so pretty BUT is it a little tacky? And will it date quickly? It's to go with a China Blue RangeMaster and dark grey units.
Thanks all!

Wouldn't necessarily choose it myself, but I applaud anyone who goes for an interesting, not-accepted-as-the-done-thing choice. I think it could look fabulous depending on how it's put together, and I don't agree with the play it safe, be bland, you can only have one "star" feature mantra.

I would say though, that you need to make sure the undertones of the greys work together - greys can be tricky to match. Love that cooker!

marmitecrumpets · 10/04/2016 03:23

It's gorgeous! Go for it

HerRoyalNotness · 10/04/2016 03:47

Love it!! and it's different from anything else I've seen

OnePlanOnHouzz · 10/04/2016 06:37

Now off the fence and in the no camp - due to size ( and beauty ) of cooker ... Basically you'd need two panels right next to each other and that would look wrong as the would be carbon copies not mirror images - so no no no in this instance. If you want more impact behind the cooker, go for powder blue or stainless steel backsplash - or just stick with the tiles all the same and let the cooker shine as the star of the room !

I think it's beautiful, a very classic Ted Baker design, but I really don't like the fact it has the logo at the bottom. It's odd. I didn't know Ted Baker did home design tbh.

Don't like it at all!
I think in a years time you'll wish you'd gone with something more "traditional" and will have the expense of removing it.

FrankUnderwoodsWife · 10/04/2016 07:24

With that cooker I'd go with a stainless steel splash back

JillyTheDependableBoot · 10/04/2016 09:18

As soon as I saw the cooker I thought the same as Oneplan - it's not the right size so there is no way it will work.

Karcheer · 10/04/2016 11:40

Lovely and very on trend.

wowfudge · 10/04/2016 14:10

If you really like it, could you use it somewhere else? Whether that is in the kitchen or another room in the house.

Lighteningirll · 10/04/2016 14:31

Love that cooker but in rl I thought the blue wasn't as nice as the pic. Also love the flashbacks but does it come in the right size for a wide range? Might all look a bit busy but I think it would work.

SquidgeyMidgey · 10/04/2016 16:06

I don't mind it, but I think I would get sick of it after a little while.

bearbehind · 15/04/2016 23:23

I was never convinced that splash back pattern would work in a kitchen but the fact you can have a matching frock makes it a complete no no!

It's pretty lazy for Ted Baker to use the same prints for your fashion and homeware.

Marmitelover55 · 15/04/2016 23:38

Love the cooker and the dress but hate the splash back.

ChishandFips33 · 15/04/2016 23:39

Buy the dress and do something else for the splash-back
Let the cooker shine

FrikkaDilla · 16/04/2016 01:11

No! Wouldn't even contemplate it. Lovely print. But for a splashback - no way.

Out2pasture · 16/04/2016 01:16

I like it no matter where you put it....i'd consider framing it and putting it up as a picture....oh maybe I can just google ted baker prints....
