When they move out and take all that clutter with them the new purchasers will be left with a dusty shack/warehouse... which cost them over 3 million quid!

It looks like a shambolic showroom. What's with all the towels clagged around the edges of the bath? I don't love it - it's someone's 'clever' idea of living in an industrial space.

My house looks similar, except rather than objects d'art, it's filled with lego pieces, some half eaten biscuits and Anna and Elsa's discarded shoes...

Cat that's just what I was going to say!

It's got a corrugated metal roof, fabric concertina doors and no soft furnishings. It's going to be really noisy and lacking in privacy.

It looks like the paint your own studio the DCs like going to! That crossed with some sort of modern art gallery. It's hideous and looks nothing like a home.

I couldn't cope with that clutter at all!

I don't like it at all.
It looks so cold and sad and despite being so full of crap stuff it is kind of empty looking, as in it has no soul or character and is lost and unloved.

I really like it but according to the floorplans, there are no bedrooms, it all just flows into itself which I'm not sure is for me It's nice to see something that isn't going for the almost inevitable Skandi-chic-minimalist look.

I wouldn't worry too much about the corrugated roof as (a) it will have to have been insulated to the nth degree to pass building regs and (b) the terrace on top is flat/decked so I assume the corrugated bits are a finish on the ceiling rather than the actual structure of the roof.

Paula Rego tiles? museum grade glass? the library shelving system? that's got to be a serious artist's place... i bet the shelving system is full of prints and drawings..
(please tell me that's not a corrugated iron ceiling? for £3m? even if it's not, it LOOKS like a corrugated iron ceiling, for £3m)

I love this! Although from what lalalonglegs says about the layout it wouldn't be for me.

But the decor is so my thing - they even have the table I want. I have realised my taste isn't everyone's though (especially judging from the other comments on this thread), and it isn't the most practical, so I keep it somewhat in check. My DF makes ceramics, some of the stuff in this place is amazing.

What fool would pay £3.8M for that! I know the location is good, but look at comparable properties in London, and it is obviously overpriced. Once they get their tat out, it looks like what it is, a garage.

I couldn't even look through all the photos, it hurt thinking about it, I think I managed 12, I often wonder how people live like that, I'm minimalist, because I have 2 teenagers, a toddler and a baby, and not enough space... if it's not useful it doesn't make it through the door!

It's a profiled steel ceiling which will be an internal skin with insulation and then the roof covering. Often they can be fitted to actually dampen noise (we use them in commercial buildings).
It says in the description it was designed for an art collector and it has lots of features that point towards that. A lot of the description points towards serious money being spent on details that the average person wouldn't appreciate or need but a would protect the collection.
Not my kind of thing but I don't actively dislike it.
