Oh, and my Canadian house is mostly painted in dark red or green. Clearly the people we bought the house off didn't read the colonial pamphlet! We are somewhat unusual in painting the trim and garage on the outside a really sunny yellow Grin

How about this house for bright interior colours: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-26935728.html

Barbabeau · 15/06/2013 07:07

I thought the one with the gates when I looked at it.

Would be an annoying hike to HOP station from there.

Pimpf · 15/06/2013 09:02

Anyone else tired of the comments of the price and how much a similar house would cost up north? Yes we know, house prices in London are ridiculous. Get over it!

Relaxedandhappyperson · 15/06/2013 09:48

Pimpf, not really. It's a fair comment.

Perhaps you should move out of London.

Scruffey · 15/06/2013 09:51

Light blue gate. The house to the right of it is not fully in the pic so it can't be that one.

xabiuol · 15/06/2013 10:07

The one slap bang in the middle of the picture with the hedge.

xabiuol · 15/06/2013 10:13

It's beautiful!

Pimpf · 15/06/2013 11:04

Who says I live in London?!

Everyone knows that houses cost a fortune in London, why the shock horror every time someone links to one.

Yonihadtoask · 15/06/2013 11:11

I would have said the one with the wheelie bins. But yes, from looking out of the lounge window - the hedge is visible. So, it's the one with the closed gate.

Not v good photos though. Even on the full brochure. We have a picture of every room on ours - some from more than one angle :) not a sniff of interest though in 6 months sigh

LIZS · 15/06/2013 11:12

the one with the hedge

Ezza1 · 15/06/2013 11:13

Blimey nooka, they like their orange colour in that rather expensive property.

Must have got a job lot down the market Grin

Mintyy · 15/06/2013 13:30

Pimpf, I have lived in London all my adult life and I live just round the corner from that house and even I am shocked at the price. But really I thought the photos were pretty poor for a house in that price bracket (or for any house, come to think of it) especially the external shot.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's reasonably priced at all, I think the whole of east dulwich is over priced! What annoys me is that every time a house in the south east is linked to there are always comments on how you could get a mansion for that up north - we know!!!!

KatyDid02 · 15/06/2013 21:52

The one with the red blinds; you can see the hedge through the window

DIddled · 15/06/2013 21:54

Miffy I live quite near you too :)

Trills · 15/06/2013 22:00

You can see from the floorplan that the front door is to the right of the window (looking from outside).

Trills · 15/06/2013 22:01

It looks like a nice house.

Devora · 15/06/2013 23:07

I am constantly amazed at how much houses cost in London - and I live here. Slightly bemused, though, at comments that imply it's some weird lifestyle choice of Londoners to pay that much.
