Love the 43 pictures of a dingy underground room in Portugal. And here is my ceiling. And here are my stair risers. And here is my doormat.

Maybe the estate agent just got a new digital camera and got overexcited. They look like the pictures my three year old takes on my phone - 47 pictures of his eyebrow.

I quite like it actually. It needs a ton of work and could be amazing finished.

Back to the OP's post - a house with real possibilities. You can make any house look shit if you try, and you can't say the owners haven't given of their best.

Same with the wood-ey US house. Take away the shite furniture and you have a house with good bones.

< Disclaimer, I live in a late 70s/early 80s wooden house, and having been there year, wanting to paint it all white, I've come round to its integrity. It IS rather nice. The wood stays. And the brick fireplace.>
